Description: Using Dr. Drew Pinsky's Dialogue as a starting point, this workshop will provide a wide-ranging, introductory exploration of the issues that are experienced by transgender persons. Songs from the Sissy Show, the world's first transgender musical, will be interspersed with the panel's presentation. Panelists will include persons who have personally experienced the difficulties and joys of living honestly with their sexual orientation and gender identity. Other panelists will be individuals who have worked in counseling and consultative relationships with crossdressers/transvestites, transexuals, intersexuals, other self-identified transgender people.
