31. Brooke's Place: a safe haven for the transgendered and their friends

| I live near Seattle, Washington, USA. I am a 40 year old transsexual. I came to my senses very late in my life, and discovered why the person I am inside made things so confusing for the person I thought I was supposed to be. I am now on a journey that takes a lifetime, but I am finally moving towards my true self, rather than away. I have finally begun my transition, but as it took me a long time to get here, I am moving carefully, and slowly - my main goal at this point is to keep moving forward. I am currently in therapy with one of the finest gender therapists in Seattle. As of yet, I have not began hormone therapy, but I hope to start soon. I have no definite plans for exactly when I will begin my "real life test" and start living full time as a woman, but i hope to do so within the next year, after I have completed electrolysis. | I'm a TG (Transsexual) girl, welcome to my pages. Some people have a problem with girls like us so if you have a problem it's yours to keep as I don't have any problem with me. I'm in my early to mid fifties now but still try to keep myself looking as nice as possible. How we appear to others is I believe not just a question of age, it's also a lot to do with if we retain a mental youthfulness and of course our current frame of mind. Me?, well I have never subscribed to the idea that when one passes forty we should commence enrolment into the BOF. club (Boring Old Fart's club). |
