Description: I am a married 40+ member of the transgendered community. Like many of us, I discovered my bi-gendered nature at an early age. I entered this world in the intimate surroundings of Brooklyn, New York, but have lived elsewhere in my adult life. Fran has emerged publicly only in the last few years. In the interim, life's journey had taken me to Texas and then to the southwest suburbs of Kansas City. The Internet has been a valuable tool in helping me find, communicate with and befriend other members of the transgendered community.In turn, I have been able to establish a number of local friendships and have become active in Crossdressers and Friends, a Kansas City support resource for the transgendered.
