| I always knew I was really a girl, even when I was a boy. October 1998 was an eventful month for me. On October 7, not only did I at long last receive my divorce from my demented housemate, but the same document also legally changed my name to Julianne Michelle. On October 16, I had my appointment with the internist, and got my hormone prescripts. Began taking them on October 17. During the month I also got all my I.D.'s switched over to my new legal name. November 5 I received my letter from the State that approves the gender change on my driver's license, so on Sat, Nov 7 I got a new driver's license that says I am a legal woman! I've been feeling incredibly happy these days...very unusual for me, but very enjoyable! |

| Gosh! Where to begin? That is always the hardest part. Like most t-girls, I too discovered at a early age that I was somehow special from the other boys. I began dressing at age 6, at have continued off and on, throughout my life. I had considered SRS in my early 20's, but at the time, the surgery was quite in it's infancy, and societal pressures were far greater. I did not want to be a guinea pig. So I came to decide to accept both of myself's. I do enjoy my maleness and my femaleness, and try to not let one dominate the other. It is a balancing act to be sure. I have gone out occasionally to the ATM or the gas pump, the movies, the usual I guess never really caused much commotion. I just would like to fit in! |
