I had surgery on April 23, 2002 by Dr Menard. I was well satisfied with the results. He visited me daily after the operation and once a year later on a telephone consult.

God bless you for the work that you do. It is beautiful, amazing, and exquisitely feminine. The transgendered are the bravest people among us. Most will suffer through their lives in quiet frustration, with increasingly fewer expressions of who they really are. The costs imposed by family, friends, and employers far exceed the financial burdens of achieving a respectable standard of beauty as a girl. Best regards to each and every one of the girls you've reassigned. Your talent and their courage is a powerful, winning combination. All of you should be very proud.

I had MtF surgery with Menard and I definitely would not recommend him. I developed complications, have poor aesthetic results, and have lost all vaginal depth. Unfortunately I found out too late that he had a higher complication record compared to other surgeons. I was told this by well known medical professionals in the community. When I was seen by other doctors, I was asked "Why did he cut you up like that?!". His scars don't heal well. When I tried to get help from him about these complications, he was very rude and said someone from the office would get back to me but they never did. Whatever you do, please do NOT go to Menard. There are simply enough better surgeons out there today, including Brassard, Suporn, Meltzer and others. Choose wisely and do a better research.

I had SRS back in 1998! I am totally satisfied!!a gynocologist who saw my surgey results said that Dr Menard is not a Surgeon, but an artist!!... that says it all!..
