I have read all the comments on this page and I am so happy that Chettawut is continuing his great work. Since my operation in 2001, I have gone from strength to strength with my personal life. I now have a new career with good prospects and a lot of this is down to the services of Chettawuts team. Thank you again to the team, and especially to Chettawut. I researched SRS surgeons for several years, web-searching for positive or negative reviews of various surgeons as well as the type and cost of SRS procedures offered. I selected Dr. Chettawut and his very qualified staff. I am a registered nurse in the United States, and I can absolutely assure anybody considering SRS surgery and breast augmentation that surgery with this team, in Thailand, is the best choice you can make. They are so caring, professional, and qualified. If I needed ANY kind of surgery in the future, I would choose the same. I was very impressed by the level of nursing care, both in the hospital and by his on-call nursing staff. My primary care physician here in the States agrees that it is among the best he has ever seen, aesthetically and functionally sound. I have never been happier in my entire life. anonymous

I found Chettawut did a great job in regard to my gental surgery.My family doctor, after veiwing the results, other than the "U" at the top couldn't tell the difference. I am well pleased with the results and the way I was treated for my stay there.

I had my srs done with Dr Chettawut in Feb 2001. At the same time, he did mammoplasty and Tracheal shave. I, like Debbee, had skin problems and he invited me to stay for two weeks, at his own cost, then give me a skin graft to compensate for the lack of depth I recieved, or go back in six months and have the colon implant. I took the latter, and returned six months later to have the colon extension. He performed this operation to perfection and, for his part of the operation, free of charge. I can categorically say that Chettawut is the finest and nicest surgeon I have ever met and have recommended him to many TS patients, many who have visited him with great satisfaction. Please remember that if you have skin disorders or lack of skin it must be very difficult for the surgeons to give you a satisfactory result. In my case, I had a very poor amount of skin, added to this a lot of scar tissue,and diabetes, and Chettawut gave me a fully functional and brilliant looking vagina. I am very surprised to see bad comments about Chettawut on this site and can only say that, From my experience, You cant get better than Chettawut.

I had SRS and BA operations performed by Dr. Chettawut on October 11 2003 and the results are great even though I did not have much to work with down there. I found Dr. Chettawut is a very caring and his staff very professional, they took care of everything for me. I would recomend him to anyone. I had five operations done within 3 days with Dr. Chettawut and i must say that i could not have chosen a better surgeon. The results of my SRS, AM, Trachea, chin shave and brow bossing (inc. forehead lift) were nothing less than fantastic. My recovery was very quick, i experienced minimal pain - only discomfort from lying in bed for too long and those catheters. He is very understanding, very kind, gentle, supportive and last but not least he is very professional. He has an excellent team, Tair - a gorgeous lady that takes care of you from your accomodation as you arrive, to cleaning and dressing after surgery, to buying me a bra for my new breasts; along with two other beautiful nurses (Nut & Kung) who looked after me every morning who were always carrying a pleasant smile, who are humourous without losing a tiny bit of professionalism. If you choose Dr. Chettawut as your surgeon, you will be under the skilled hands of an international SRS GOD. i recommend anybody to go to Dr. Chettawut. After 2 months all scars have healed, my vagina is perfect without any sense of pain or other complications and it is very sensate. the depth is 6.5in - 7in; and i had a penis 2in - 3in in size during its flaccid state. my breasts are perfectly symmetrical and they look absolutely divine. i've never been happier with myself after i've done surgery with my dearest dr. chettawut. if i do any further surgery i would definitely go back to dr. chettawut without a doubt. and i strongly recommend to everybody to go to dr. chettawut. my face is healed with unnoticable scars and all numbness have disappeared

I had SRS with Dr. Chettawut on January 20, 2005 and had a wonderful experience. Four months post-op, there are no complications and I have a vaginal depth of approximately 6 to 6 1/2 inches. My urologist just looked at it (for reasons unrelated to SRS...more out of curiosity) and said that it looked really good. The doctor was very careful to explain what might go wrong and I believe that he is one of the most careful and thoughtful surgeons that I've ever worked with. I would recommend him to anyone seeking SRS. His staff people are excellent and post-op care (for 2 weeks in Bangkok) was very friendly and professional.

I had SRS along with Augmentation Mamoplasty in early October, 2006. Dr Chettawut has an updated SRS technique that really provides great sensation. I'm totally orgasmic. I'm completely thrilled with the results of both surgeries! The aesthetic results are simply amazing. To mention, he was exellent at sizing my proportions for my Augmentation Mammoplasty. His staff is just terrific! They are very professional, as well as compassionate. I really feel I could not of made a better choice in a surgeon!

I completed my SRS with Dr. Chettawut April 26th,2006 and i am very impressed with his results. The appearance is perfect the debth is 5.5 inches and I have good feeling. I finaly completed my SRS with Dr. Chettawut 15 Oct, 2005. I am thriled with my results and believe he is an artist at his craft since 2005. I have had no complications with my SRS and the external appearance as well as neo vagina are all working fine. I did not use a stomache skin graft only scrotal and I was was given 5 1/2 - 6 inches. It takes about 15 minutes to really relax and hit the 6 inch mark. But I'm very happy with my choice of Dr. Chettawut. Eevryone who has asked to see my results for future reference on their choice of doctors are pleased, and may decide to go to Dr. Chettawut. I may accompany a few as I liked to re-do my BA. We'll see when the time comes. But I must say He has done a masterpiece on my SRS. It's was pretty from the day I checked out of the hospital. Now this doctor knows something about creating Beautiful Vagina's. I'm living proof! and I'm over the moon about how he made it look so lovely to look at. I was scared at firts when all the stitches were disolvong some slower then others. But I;m stll amzed with his artistic, safe, opreational skills! He's SRS's are amazingly beautiful! Lianne

I completed my SRS with Dr. Chet on 29 March 2007.He is amazingly skilled and his staff are so sweet and professional, I stayed in Bangkok for a total of 3 weeks.I had regular SRS and my result is beautiful, very sensitive and well hooded clitoris, for some extra reassurance I have been told by a good girlfriend that my vagina is very pretty.I also like to note that I self lubricate and I am 3 months post-op.In my opinion and from all the results I have seen so far Dr. Chettawut is one of the best SRS surgeons in the world!

Having gone through several operations (srs/ffs/ba etc) with Dr Chettawut in January 2007, i am very impressed with the results. Not only is he a great surgeon, he is friendly and has some wonderful people in his team. Not only is Bangkok the perfect place to have the surgery, but i have no hesitation at all in recommending him to 2 others, who will be going over there sometime in the near future. This coming january 2008 ill be going back for my fourth trip to dr chettawut in bangkok ,thailand for some miner adjustments on my nose . In april 2007 i had my facial feminisation surgery done with dr chettawut and over 15 hours he rebuilt most of my face ,this followed my other trips in 2006 and also 2005 wear i had my ba ,trachial shave ops ,and in 2006 my srs on the 25th of january . I am planning on going to Dr. Chettawut at the end of June, 2008. I have been doing lots of internet research on and off over the last year or so and finally have come close to raising the funds, and making my choice. I think Dr. Chettawut is as close to the best as they come. I was also looking closely at Dr. Supporn, but I think for the financial difference between the two, Dr. Chettawut is far better value. I am planning on doing SRS and nothing else (I don't feel the need for other surgeries, and I don't have the money even if I wanted them!). If anyone has any advice or wants to chat about Dr Chett, feel free to email me!!!

Dr. Chettawut is very experienced (I had my FFS with him) and the price for SRS is very reasonable (on his website quoted at 7,500 US$). Other good doctors (like Greechart at Yanhee Hospital Bangkok) charge about US$ 6,000 for basic SRS but this doesn't include hotel-stay. I just got a quote from Dr.Suporn who charges almost 11,000 Euro (495,000 THB) for SRS. He is very good but also price-wise in a league of his own. This info is as per November 2007, hope it helps for those who seek SRS in Thailand

For anyone undergoing SRS, it is imperative that you find a suitable surgeon with a good reputation for their work and after-care. Prior to my surgery, I researched and considered the work of many surgeons that specialised in sex reassignment surgery. I came across Dr.Chettawut through a group of friends, two of whom had been former patients. They had been very happy with the care they had received during their stay in Thailand, and praised the Doctor for his excellent work. I read through Dr Chettawut’s website and was convinced that he was the right choice for me. And he certainly was. I could not have chosen a better surgeon. On arriving at Bangkok Airport I was picked up by his driver and met him the next day during my pre-surgery consultation. I found both Dr Chettawut and his staff very kind and courteous, and found him to be a very approachable man who gave me all the information about the process and procedure of SRS and BA surgery. I could not have asked for a better consultation. I came away feeling well informed and very comfortable about the SRS process. The surgery was performed three days later and I recovered very quickly. I had minimal discomfort, if any to be exact, and was taken care by his excellent nurses whom were very helpful and friendly. They visited me everyday to see how I was progressing and delivered a high level of after-care. It soon became apparent (and no surprise) why Thailand is now the choice for SRS amongst many, European-based Transwomen. The result of my surgery was well beyond my expectations. I found the surgeon’s techniques to be of a very high quality and there was no loss of sensitivity or any problems afterwards. In fact I was so pleased with his work that I recently returned to Thailand and underwent some facial surgery, once again receiving an excellent level of work and after-care. This time I didn’t feel as if I was here for surgery, but more like I was visiting old friends. For anyone seriously considering the step towards SRS, I strongly advise you to look into Dr.Chettawut’s work. I have found him to be a very warm, and a very approachable person whom will do all he can to make both your surgery and care reach beyond your expectations. And in that aspect, he certainly made the difference for me. In fact, I cannot thank him enough. I left Thailand a very happy person, and with the added confidence of feeling totally complete and satisfied that I had made the right choice.

In Malaysia you can get SRS for £1k Sterling, but what kind ? Dr Suporn is the best, a women cannot tell the difference and Orgasms Wow !. You are looked after from Airport to Airport and his team make this difficult operation seem easy. Try a handful of salt in your bath water it really helps post opp and just sooths, no pain. You get what you pay for Girls.

Hi all , I had SRS with Dr Chettawut in september and I am really happy with the results .I am orgasmic and cosmetically I,m really happy. Internally I have a depth over 6 inches with skin graft. The results are better than I could of wished for. I returned in April for ffs and again he has exceeded my expectations. Dr Chettawut and his staff are also very kind.

I remitted $700 to Dr. Chettawut in 2007. This "doctor", a surgeon moreover, will hear nothing of it and refuses to reimburse my advance or even a portion of that advance (which I had been prepared to accept). His response is that "when one remits an advance, it is non-refundable, that is French law!". I wondered for a moment how it would have been handled had I reserved a trip, a car, an LCD screen, etc.. No, no, I had committed to an operation with a "doctor", no less, but one who cannot ethically understand that, in the event of a downturn in a potential patient's state of health, a cancellation is a preferable outcome for everyone's well-being. You will say that I should have been suspicious when he asked me for a 50% increase in fees, because I was HIV-positive. Where are the professional ethics? So at this point, I am not afraid to proclaim loudly that these persons are taking commercial advantage of transsexual people and nothing more. They see their priority as their commercial interest, and nothing else. As of this date, I have lost $700, which represents 80% of my monthly income from my disability pension. For 3 months, I have been led down the garden path, "you will be reimbursed, but it will take time". "one must wait and be patient"... This is why, 2 weeks ago, I sent an e-mail to Dr. Chettawut, informing him that I was going to take legal action (yes, I lost patience). I received an e-mail this morning telling me that "Dr. Chettawut won't hear any more of it, as a result of your e-mail" End of story. Well... no, it is the beginning, as far as I am concerned, because it is out of the question for me to be cheated out of such an amount of money. Not only do I struggle every day in the face of death, but I also should keep my mouth shut when a "doctor" refuses to understand that the state of my health requires all necesary precautions. Well no, I've had it! You will say that I should have thought of this before hand. Yes, that is obvious. I had dreamed of being operated upon by Dr. Chettawut in Thailand, but I had no idea that 7 months before the appointed date, the HIV would catch up with me. Elly. I am looking for a doctor who does Tracheal shave. I came across him and I am very disappointed with this doctor. I first called him in Thailand and I asked for someone who speaks english. They gave the phone to someone who happened to be Dr Chettawut. He was really nice and I asked him if he provides consultation, I am willing to pay for a 30 min consultation but he said just email him. I spent an hour trying to come up with questions and I sent hime 12 questions. He answered 2 out of the twelve and started his response with I told you on the phone not to worry about anything and you will have no complications. Great! Like those words will answer my questions and address my due diligence process. I followed up and he ignored my emails. I dont care how good of a doctor you are, ify ou cant answer your patient's questions then you are NO GOOD! I would recommend Kunaporn or Preecha over this doctor if you are one of those people who want to know what you will go through and to understand the process. This is a minor surgery but I have questions that he REFUSES to answer. He charges 1800 USD, Kunaporn 1300 and Preecha 2700. If someone has any recommendations on good doctors for this procedure can you please let me know. Thanks
