Dr. Preecha and his staff are the best!!! i highly recomend the pai astetic institute for anyone wanting srs surgery, they are by far the all around best for the $7,500.00

I to am very happy with the work from Dr Preecha. There are things like with any surgeon you should discuss prior to your surgery. He did an awsome job on me and my best friend in England. My time in Thailand was awsome, infact I would love to go back someday, and be able to thank him personaly!

I am extremely happy with the results as well as the super fine treatment that I received from Dr.Preecha and staff. I was 72 at the time of my surgery in January 2003. The hospital and staff were marvelous and gave me very special treatment. I made some friends in the hospital (Bangkok Nursing Hospital) that I will keep for life. The results have been super for me in so many ways. I certainly am happy to rate him so highly to all. I am also aware that he has done over 2000 patients and that experience was essential to me in my selection. My time "on the table" was only three hours and that included breast implants and trachea shaving along with the SRS. That in itself was reason enough to select him as my surgeon.

I would like to add that Dr. Preecha did what I wanted him to do. I think he did a very good job. I think he ought to thank his staff, cause they were the ones I was most impressed with. His communication skills lack a lot, but he did what I wanted and I guess that is all that counts. The hospital was fantastic the people of Bangkok were fantastic and the staff at the hospital were wonderful. He was a polite man, but didn't see him very much. I would recommend him, but I wish he would be a little more personable with his patients.

I asked dr supporn if he could recomend someone else as he has such a long waiting list and therefore doubled his price for srs and he said Dr preecha at PAI and Sanguan at Phuket Plastic Surgery. Now I am a bit confused, Dr supporn's patients all say they are very orgasmic, but what about dr preecha's? Please give me some reassurance! I'm confused

hello! i was reading the comments others gave to dr preecha. i was kinda hurt for i am one of the satisfied patients of dr preecha. financially & outcome wise. maybe for others they haven't had srs yet that's why. well i can't blame them but if there's someone who is that determine & is decided to undergo srs, i highly recommend dr preecha. speaking for myself, you won't regret having him as your surgeon. Dr Preecha is a [***** ***], i had my SRS with him in December 2005, as i didn't have much tissue to work with, i was keen for having primary colovaginoplasty and he said i could still have the penile if i wanted but i didn't want to risk having to come back so he agreed to do it, i was happy to have it done because of the self-lubrication and there is no risk of collapsing and you don't need to dilate as much. Anyway i had the surgery done and I didn't see him much during my time there except when he examined me before i left, all he did was put a finger in while he had his two students observing in his examination room at PAI and say "oh you're tight like a virgin, your vagina looks very good" besides that i wasn't given any oral or written specific instructions about how to care for my vagina, luckily i had done my homework well. Anyway i dilated for 6 months with the set of 3 dilators i bought from Preecha's institute (by the way, the middle size was a cheap candle because they didn't store an acrylic stent). I realised my vagina kept on tightening up, i never had any problems with my depth, it is around 6" (even though Preecha promised 8" with the colon), anyway in the beginning i was happy with the tight pussy thing because my partner loved it and i could have sex no problems, i just had to ease it in everytime we did it. But considering all this time that went by, my width became terrible; where the colon joins the genital skin outside, there is a ring of scar tissue, the more time went by, the tighter it got and it is gotten to a stage where i have bleeding from the entry when i have sex with my husband and it is very painful, plus Dr. Preecha left too much erectile tissue which swells up and narrows down the entry of my vagina even more. I have a close girlfriend who went to him and had the same procedure done about 7-8 months after me, she has the same problem and i had met another girl called Natalie from the U.S. who had the colon surgery done when i was getting my breasts done by Preecha in April 2004, i remember we used to email each other to see how we were doing, she had mentioned the exact problem to me (this girl can't even put a finger in there, she mentioned pain and bleeding as well so she basically lost all her motivation for sex). And i met two other girls there when i was having my SRS, one was called Nelly and she was from Mexico, she had come back to have a "touch-up" because she had too much swelling at the entry of her vagina during arousal and she had the tightening problem too, the other girl was called Layla, she was from Iran, she had come to Preecha to add a colon graft to her short vagina after an unsuccessful operation in her country thinking Preecha would do a miracle for him, but poor girl, she was crying after the surgery complaining to the nurses, all i remember her saying was, as soon as she puts a dilator in, her vagina spits it out, it's too tight, nothing except the smallest 'candle' they provided will go in and she was in pain, nothing was done about it! Nelly, the girl who paid for the touch up got hers fixed up but she didn't keep in touch so i am not sure if her vagina works well now. As a result, i think Dr Preecha should be punished for his negligence, all he cares about is money. He does all these surgeries without assessing the patient properly, he doesn't explain any complications, he doesn't mention that you might have to go back for a touch up and i strongly believe he leaves the girls with certain problems after their surgery so they come back to invest more money in his business. All the girls i know have to go back to Thailand to have a touch up and pay extra. My close girlfriend M. from Australia tried to get in contact with Preecha via email and he wouldn't answer but i think she was able to get a hold of him over the phone or maybe email just once, he promised to fix her pussy for $1,000 AUD which covers the anesthesia and hospital fee, which was fair enough but when she flew over there, he turned around and put his price upto $4,000 AUD and poor girl was in shock, she tried arguing her point with him but he wouldn't listen, so she got really sick over there from stress and came back with nothing, she discussed the problem with Dr. Heartsch from Sydney, he is probably the only famous surgeon in Australia in this area and he quoted $6,000 AUD for the touch-up surgery, basically it works out the same as going back to Preecha but the difference is at least here in Australia, the doctor will be clear and honest with the patient at every stage and if they do a mistake, they are happy to fix it for free and they do follow ups! So at this stage, i feel really down, i ve been suffering from depression for nearly two years because of this problem, i can't afford to pay Dr Preecha's astronomical fees. For God's sake, it is only Thailand, how can the touch-up surgery cost the same as in Australia? I think Thai surgeons are going overboard with their prices, they turned this whole sex change thing into a trade and they see all foreigners as bags of cash, they don't care how u end up coz they ll never see u again! u can't even sue them coz their legal system protects them, so it is a gamble, i believe it is the best for transsexuals to do a good research and get their surgeries in their own countries or if they still want to go overseas, yes i know it is a bit pricey but U.S. is a good option, there is some good surgeons there like Dr. Schrang. [Ed.. Note: Dr Schrang has retired.] At least they are honest about what they can and they can't do for you and they provide you with all the info you need. So this whole Thailand thing was a nightmare. Frankly, at this stage i don't even know what i want to do with my problem, i have sort of lost hope, i have let go of myself, i am just ignoring it, otherwise when i think about it, it makes me really sad. And this whole article is true, i don't work for anyone, i just wrote this to warn girls about going to Thailand, trust me you don't want to ruin yourself, save your money and go somewhere else. If anyone has questions, feel free to email me about Preecha, i used to be a fan of Preecha and stick up for him untill this happened, i am greatly disappointed by him. I am actually thinking about writing all this down in detail and posting it to Anne Lawrence's website. I think girls should be open about their SRS experience and write about their surgeon so others can benefit from this information. I wish everyone the best! Good luck with your transformation.

I put myself under the care of Dr Preeha and his staff on January 9th, 2007. I am EXTREMELY happy with the results. I am also very happy with the care I received, but be fore warned, this is not the USA for better or worse. It is a different culture. I loved it but a sister did not have as positive experience as I had mainly because of the culture clash. I also spoke to a number of other sisters and was very impressed. The Dr even discouraged one person from a planned operation. Just be sure of yourself. This is the biggest step of your life. I was, and I am thankful to Dr Preecha and his staff every day since.

I had the colon section SRS with Dr Preecha July 18, 2007. I'm absolutely thrilled with my result. Dr Preecha and his staff were all sweethearts that went the distance to make sure everything went right. Any US Dr that has seen Preecha's handiwork on me has praised it. My SO is also TS and she is going to go to Preecha too in a couple of years.

I had my surgery with Dr.Preecha in 2000. Although he is very nice and really seemed to care and his staff and the hospital were all excellent the result of my surgery is extremely disappointing. He told me there would be no hair growth inside after surgery but there is which is very hygienically and emotionally disturbing. And although I can orgasm easily and get very wet he left so much erectile tissue that I cannot have intercourse and have almost no depth beyond a finger. Aesthetically the result of the surgery makes me feel like I have been severely maimed and disfigured. I have posted pictures on Anne Lawrence’s site to demonstrate. I tried numerous times to contact Preecha after my surgery and he has NEVER responded to me. Now, I am trying to find a confident enough doctor who is willing to try to repair the damage he has done by way of another surgery.Please note I have been refused because of the severity of the damage done many doctors do not feel that there is enough material left to do a proper correction. I strongly advise to stay away from him.

I attempted to contact Dr. Preecha about my complication following primary colovaginoplasty, i only received one e-mail, they weren't very helpful on the phone so i actually flew to Bangkok in November 2007 to find him. Despite feeling jetlagged, on my first day of landing back in Thailand, I went to Bangkok Nursing Hospital had my examination with Dr. Preecha after waiting for a very long time. He said i had stricture of scar tissue at the entry of the vagina, that's why i had the bleeding and pain during intercourse, even dilation. I also had other problems like extra discharge, uncomfortable contactions after intercourse and dilation plus i was spraying when i peed. So he squeezed my revision surgery in on a saturday which took place at Piyavet Hospital near the Bangkok International Airport. The surgery included lowering of the urethra, cutting/blocking the nerve that caused extra discharge and contractions and removal of scar tissue and excessive spongy tissue around the entry. I followed my post-op care instructions as intructed by dr. Preecha himself. He only charged me for Anesthesia, Hospital and assistant doctor fee which came to US$1,500. When i got back to Australia, i had a post-revision examiantion with Dr. Simon Ceber in Melbourne, he is specalised in GRS, he said everything looks fine. But i still don't have a normal sex life with my partner. It is been about 10 months now. I do not have extra discharge nor contractions which is good but there is still downsides; I have had sex on different occasions and i still bleed and can feel stricture, it's all got to do with the junction of genital skin and colon graft, i don't think the colon graft i had ever healed and settled properly. It seems to be fragile. I thought the revision would have sorted out my complications but obviously not. I feel like i failed because i am very stealth and passable and this medical problem is affecting my relationship with my long term partner, he won't touch me because he is afraid to hurt me and he doesn't know what to do either. So it seems like I have to make an appointment with the local surgeon and get his idea, if i can't put an end to this problem, i am going to have to do another Thailand visit to Preecha. It must be the luck of the draw when it comes to GRS because another girlfriend went to him like last year and had primary colo-vaginoplasty with Preecha and she seems very satisfied and sexually active. Anyway i'll keep with updates.

I have contacted Dr. Preecha for a 2nd revision but I have only been able to communicate with his admin person 'Peera'. Last time I only paid for anesthesia because Preecha gives 'life time gurantee'. This time I thought it would be the same. Now they want to charge me USD$2,900 for a revision, after I disputed to it, the admin person Peera wrote back saying 'ok for USD$1,200 we open canal for you'. The price has changed dramatically but they are only willing to do interior work, nothing exterior. Where is the life time gurantee now? My advice is SAVE YOUR MONEY & GO & SEE DR SUPORN. He has excellent results. I realise his prices are astronomical these days but it's a once in a life time surgery so do not risk it. I lost my faith in Dr. Preecha. Who cares if he pioneered SRS in Thailand? He is a charlatan. He does not even do the surgery himself. PAI clinic is just the middle man. He makes us pay mark-up prices and it is a surgeon you never heard of or met who will do your surgery, the results totally depend on your luck. They are not interested in making existing patients happy. They are after new westerner clientele so they can take advantage of them. They took their pricelist off their website long time ago as well, that means they can charge whatever they like now. If you still want to get your surgery done through a surgeon under Preecha, I suggest you look up the names of the surgeons on their website and search for them on google and contact them directly. This way you will save money but none can gurantee how your surgery will turn out. Thailand is one dodgy country where they rip off transsexual women from all over the world. All surgeons charge too much over there these days for the country they are in. The point of medical tourism is to go overseas because you can't afford good quality health care services in your own country, but with all flights, accomodation and surgery and spending money included, it might actually be the same or cheaper to stay in your own country and go through with all of this. I have also sent to him many other patients in the time since my own experience and have had no complaints what so ever.There are many fine Doctors who do this work and always suggest that one does their research very carefully and contact others who have had G.R.S. with your choice.
