Dr Sanguan was my choice despite living only 111 blocks from where Dr. Toby used to practice. My surgery was in August of 2002. There were absolutely no problems during and since surgery. I have the necessary depth and most importantly I am sensate. Dr. Sanguan and his staff are the best. I have been in hospitals in the US and they should be required to attend classes with him on patient care. I do not believe that there is a more caring Dr. anywhere. Leigh

I've had SRS with Dr Sanguan (Kunaporn). I must say he did a fabulous job. I'm going for the colon-vaginoplasty because being a black woman, black men are a little more endowed! Well respected, highly skilled and an excellent staff (Pim, Yakuri). Money well spent!

I've had SRS with Dr Sanguan Kunaporn in August,2001. Great result from a great surgeon and my friend! I would definitely consider him. His technique(s) is only getting better and better!

Ib March of 1999, I had SRS with Dr. Sanguan and he maybe just the most compassionate, kind perosn I have ever met. His surgical skills are certainly exceptional and I have been very pleased with the results. His nursing staff is very attentive and I was very impressed with their responsiveness and dedication to assisting Dr. Sanguan.

I had SRS with Sanguan on June 9th 2004, he and his staff at the hospital are the kindest and caring people, I have ever met. As for the surgical result, in a word great, I had no pain what so ever and the appearance of my new equipment looks very natural (no scars are visible). I would recommend Sanguan without any reservation what so ever; he is so caring and compassionate that you would think that he is TG himself (he’s not). Go with a calm heart and clear mind when you have SRS in Phuket.

i had colon trensfer with Dr Kunaporn, and while it was ok, i wasn't entirely satisfied. his co-surgeon took too much colon, and the method he used to join the colon produced a circular scar which has prevented stretching. he wasn't very obliging when i discussed it with him, either.

I had mtf srs and BA with Dr. Sanguan un 08 June 2004. His surgery skills are second to none and his stitchwork is exquisite. I had no pain at all nor did I have any bleeding with dilation. Dr Sanguan is the most compassionate man that I have ever met. My spouse stayed in my hospital room with me. The nurses and staff at Phuket International Hospital treated us both like family. I was a nurse at the famed Lyon-Martin Women's Health Services here in San Francisco, California. As a transgender woman,(MTF) I assisted a fabuous physician who is FTM. As is protocol, a male doctor has to have a woman present for procedures, such as pap-smears, etc. I saw some work that was "jaw dropping," in the fact that during the pap-smears I didn't know what the hell I was looking at! Then there were the other ones, that were done, that were absolutely flawless. You couldn't tell that these women hadn't been genetically born with these vaginas! These were done by Dr.Sanguan. If and when I decide to make surgery my next step, it will be with him as my surgeon. I am blessed that years prior a non-profit organization, TGSF had Dr. Preecha and Dr.Sanguan come over and do a video and slide presentation of their work, and then a Q&A session afterwards for the girls that were present. They were both nice, professional and genuinely concerned with the girls; even giving hope to those with HIV who wanted the surgery. (It will cost a little more) While they both do excellent work, and Dr. Sanguan trained under Dr. Preecha, I would have my work done by Dr. Sanguan!!! They now use Normal Saline Breast Implants that surround silicone. The patient I saw with these type of implants; her breasts laid down when she did, and they were really quite natural. The work was exquisite and if I had not known in advance, I would have never known by the skilled work that I saw. I just hope that you know that all Dr.'s that do SRS, or say that they do SRS know what they are doing. So, please be careful! !! I highly recommend both of the aforementioned doctors, but Dr. Sanguan will be my surgeon!!!

Now in a nutshell Dr Sanguan is top of the pops with me and yes i was the lucky one to have my srs done by Dr Sanguan on Dec 8th 2005. He even had to contend with my DVD (deep vein thrombis) and yet here i am 9 months later i am one happy woman and the staff are a real asset to Dr Sanguan the care and attention to making sure you are well looked after is amazing to say the least Well done Dr Sanguan Dorothy Joan Gartner (NZ)

Dr. Sanguan is one of the best in my opinion. I had my surgery in 2000, and even though I was a difficult case, (colon vaginoplasty due to being intersexed and underendowed), the results were fantastic. My spouse was also operated upon by him a year later. We are both impressed by his caring and compassion.

Dr. Sanguan was a really nice guy. Good english. I was completely pleased with my results. It was 5 inches, then I dilated up to 6 inches, then through some lack of dilating futher on, I'm back down to 5 now. Anyway, really great surgeon. Perfect vagina cosmetically. Thailand was really fun.

Had my GRS with Sanguan on 9th Jan 2007. He is the most caring & profesional Dr I have ever had the privalage to meet. I am fully functional & astheticaly perfect. I also had BA at the same time. I had no pain at all from any of the procedures. As far as I am concerned Sanguan is Number One in the world.

Had a BA and GRS with Dr Kunaporn in July of 2007, he was very compassionate, caring but also very realistic and candid about the expected results,so far I am very satisfied with the results, top and bottom. The care at Phuket International was unbelievable compared to US hospitals. I became so attached to the staff there that I cried when I left. I really was sad to leave! The lack of pain was really quite shocking, the biggest discomfort I had was from the pain sores and muscle pain from lying in bed so long. I didn't account for every dollar but I spent 12k for the BA and GRS, 1700 for the flight from SFO, my lodging and food was probably less than a $1000, had I been able to do it over, I would have stayed in Thailand longer as the bonus of experiencing the Thai people and culture is something I had not bargained for. It was truly amazing.

As I write this I'll be celebrating the 5th anniversary of my V-Day with Dr. Sanguan. It's easy to say my experience was the best even though I don't know what it would be like with other surgeons. I do know that looking back at that enchanting time of my GRS I smile and think it was the right choice for me. Dr. Sanguan and the fantastic staff at Phuket International were professional and kind. I did not feel treated like I was a foreign customer, but felt treated as if I was Thai. The surgery was my 5th trip to Thailand and I could not have imagined a better place for physical and spiritual recovery. If you go the Phuket for your surgery please be lovely with those there who are lovely. Thai people give more than most others will and it would be a shame to spoil that with selfishness and unreal expectations. I might also suggest that you bring some lovely little gifts to honour the hospital staff. They don't expect it but appreciate it. Good luck.

Ive been trying to email Dr Sanguan but it takes him so long to respond. I tried calling the number in the website and a woman who barely speaks english tells me to call back at 530. Anyne know how to get in touch with him quickly? I want to get a tracheal shave and my choice is between him or Dr Chettawut. Preecha is very expensive

I had surgery with Dr. Sanguan last year and everything went EXTREMELY well. The staff was wonderful, Dr. Sanguan is very talented and a real gentlemen.
