If we are truly in church to worship Christ our Lord it should not matter what others think as our desire should be to behold his glory in the laws and prophets. In like manner if others are there to worship the Lord they should be seeking the same things. Those "clobber passages" are actually to glorify our Lord rather than hurt people and all who are in attendance should behold our Lord's glory and not clobber nor be clobbered with them.
