Introduction
« on: June 14, 2007, 02:41:37 pm »
I wanted to kind of throw out a couple ideas before I get caught up in the blogging. First off I want to address a question that may come up, I have within me two seperate personas, Marq and Mia. They take turns handling situations I encounter in my life based on whichever is best suited to do so at the time. For example, in a larger social situation where competitive behavior is appropriate, Marq generally is represented and in a more private one on one interaction, Mia is generally represented. I've found that as far as blogs, journals, etc are concerned, generally my entries are written from one only. My reasoning is that when I read them back days later, I don't remember writing them, perhaps a way to write something down for the other to appreciate or understand a feeling.

As this is the case, my blog entries will most likely be one or the other and perhaps both if necessary. I'll try to denote which one is represented most for each entry if nothing else to provide context. Feel free to make comments if you wish about the topics. The first couple are copies of some of Mia's blog entries on MySpace. I read them again recently and thought wow, I need to share this with others on Susans so they could better understand and appreciate whats going on inside.

Hopefully someone will read them. If not, well I put it out there, I've done what I can.
Thanks for reading, and I hope to hear from each of you soon.

Being given the gift of two-spirits meant that this individual had the ability to see the world from two perspectives at the same time. This greater vision was a gift to be shared, and as such, Two-spirited beings were revered as leaders, mediators, teachers, artists, seers, and spiritual guides
