I'm 18, but the general consensus from random strangers (on many occasions in the past year or so) is that I look 15.  I used to look older than I was, but now it seems I'm growing younger...?  ???
Works for me. I never fancied the idea of adulthood anyway.  :)

I just turned 24... I'm considering undergoing HRT but I guess I'm more androgyne since I like being both male and female :)

I can't even remember what 19 was like. I was too depressed to notice.

I do remember my 19th birthday though! I had enough tequlla and lemon for everyone and I had my first kiss ever with my lesbian flatmate with her girlfriend, our flatmate, scowling next to us. What a night. I was such a dope  ;D

Me either.  I seem to be missing a good number of years in there...why do they go by so fast?!!!

I was born in 48, or was it 84? Does it matter?
I've been androgyne all my life, but couldn't put a name to it until Mother Earth had carried me round Father Sun about 45 times (Oh, I guess the year of birth was 48, then! Sob!!).
I feel about 35 and have a mental age somewhere between 15 and 60, depending on the weather, the company and what we're doing.

In a way, I wouldn't mind being younger as it would mean that I'd have more time* after coming to terms with who and what I am. I know I'd like to have the body shape I had during my mid-20's.

But were you able to come to terms with who you are as a part of getting older. That is, if you were younger, would you still be in the midst of that process and not have more time comfortable with it?

I'm not trying to be heavily philosophical or make trouble. I just know that one reason I like being where I am is because of the results of the process it took to get me here and that took time.

Young enough that it got edited out of my intro post, which should give you a good rough estimate.

Luke,

I'm not sure maturing or just plain getting older helped me come to terms with what I am. It was more a matter of coincidence that I began to seriously ask myself questions after reading Luna by Julie Anne Peters about 2 years ago.

Reading that book triggered a whole host of memories to come flooding back. If I had read it a few years earlier when my daughter first read it, I would have come to terms with myself at a younger age, probably by about 5 years.

Shades O'Grey, I see what you mean. And thank you for the pointer to Luna. Sounds like a good book.
