oh hehe...what a silly idea! :)

I bet the "atheists" they get are probably agnostics otherwise it'll be a dull show.  I'd be pretty much guaranteed to "lose" as the only way to "convert" me would be for the clerics to prove the existence of god, which is inordinately unlikely.

Wow, that's awfully lacking in class. Not that game shows have ever been exactly classy, but this is pretty low even for them.

Love the comment; "A team of theologians will detrmine that the contestants are true athiest's and not just competeing for the prize"

Reminds me of the old jokes. How many theologicans does it take to change an atheist? Four, One to pull her skirt up, One to pull her knickers down, One to wipe and one to put the new knickers on."

What I don't get is why 200 people would sign up to be contestants when the prize is "a pilgrimage to a holy site of their chosen religion -- Mecca for Muslims, the Vatican for Christians, Jerusalem for Jews and Tibet for Buddhists." OK, I wouldn't mind winning a trip to Tibet, but still isn't that like getting right-wing Republicans to compete for a vacation on Castro Street in San Francisco? Or getting GLBT people to sign up for a trip to Alabama?

If and when I become perfect, then I'll start judging others

All them religious folks need a good spankin'
