Howdy K/K...been a while...hope things are going well in your world

Looking back at the choices I made back then, everything I chose is still the same.  However, I would now have to add Hair Care, Scent, Skin Care and Voice to the list of many things already mentioned.  I think they are now all checked (except for tattoos and the one about hiding my breasts...not there yet, but give me time).

Well, I wasn't a member here when you first did this, so I voted.  I can't say anything about changes though. :)

Its okay I guess. Looking at a comparison to yesterday, 9 others voted as well, in the last 24 hours. I am not sure who.

Lol. I don't have a tattoo either, yet.

As for things going well... I have been staying busy at work. My spare time now has been spent reading, writing, watching movies, and such. I try to keep doing things. Tis a family curse.

Also out of the 29 that original posted votes for this poll, there were only 15 accounts open, and I am not sure how many active.

I was interested in whats up after these 2 years.

The results are hardly scientific, but I'm going to group the current numbers a bit for a little commentary.

Hair (on head): 25
Body Hair: 25
Weight, Proportion, vs Height - Body Shape: 25
Clothing styles- Androgyne styles: 24

These are fairly mundane choices in appearance, even though "body shape" can be difficult to achieve.  In a certain sense, all of these items point to "shape" in some form, if you also consider body hair sticking out.

Clothing colors-: 20
Voice- Sound, vocabulary: 20
Chest- Breasts (having some sort of breasts - Real or synthetic): 19

A clothing *color* drop-off is a little interesting, but it may be explainable by the participation biologically-female androgynes -- women are generally discouraged from certain clothing designs (at least for formal occasions), but all of the colors, at least those designated for males, are typically acceptable for females.  So votes here may be limited more to biological males.

Sound and vocabulary is an interesting one, but it might be easier to understand if the two components were asked seperately.  I am probably going to have to rely on someone else for an explanation on this one, but I can see how vocabulary may affect biological females -- while there has been some relaxation in societal expectations, they are often under extra pressure to not be "vulgar."

The breast votes are really interesting here, because combined with the "Chest - Flat" category, we are looking at 27 people.  Between the two types of augmentation, this can be considered the largest group.

Eyebrows- shape: 16
Finger nails- Length, color, strength: 15

Facial use of  Makeup- Androgyne Techniques, or feminine techniques: 13
Earrings, or other body piercings: 12
Skin -color, moisture, condition, clearity: 11
Wearing Jewelry-: 10
Scent, odor, perfume, cologne: 9
Tattoos: 8
Chest - Flat (hiding any sort of breast-like shape, or removal): 8

I'm not sure what to make of the rest of these.

Nice analysis Kaelin!

Yes I agree with your comment on breast being the largest  issue, which depend's on one's birth sex mostly (though there may be other factors).

I also think your comment concerning color drop off is logical.

re: original question
Answer: Everything! Every part of your self is affected by your gender/sex expression.

re: numbers
I don't know, I heard there were no women on the internet.
Maybe that could skew the numbers a bit.

  • A Lady and part time Trollop.
I love having long nails and have successfully gone over two months without breaking any. Revlon cherrys in the snow is pretty color. Mostly I get the inexpensive polish though because it dries faster than revlon. I do think being clean and smeling nice is important. But some scents can be overwhelming. Makeup is very imortant also. Genevieve.

Laurie, It's always nice if the nail polish and lipstick match. Go for Cherrys in the snow. The polish and lipstick match and that is a very pretty color.  I tried to buy that color for a GG friend one day and she said it would make her look like a trollop. My response, "But Sandy, you are a trollop."
