Title: FTM STUD packer
Post by: An Embarrassed Lurker on January 13, 2011, 09:20:10 AM
Hey guys,
I'm in the market for an stp, but been having trouble with finding one I like. I really like the idea behind the FTM STUD, and it's tubing is nice and thin, but the packy that they use with is one that I'm using to pack with at the moment. It didn't like me a whole bunch, and I would like to try something new, namely, the GV/Sailor soft pack. Toolshed toys has an stp with them (STP Fitz, I think it's called) but the tubing just looks ... massive. I was wondering if any of you knew of GV stps with much thinner tubing, or if the people at FTM STUD would ever start offering two types of packer for their stp?

Thanks : D

Hey dude,

I don't know what STUD can do but you may want to try and get a hold of someone over at urimate.com. I've talked to the dude there and he's been super helpful.  They carry spoon types and what I have is the funnel type.  I think he can make one that has recessed tubing...I don't know but it's worth a shot.

I use the medicine spoon stand to urimate from here.  https://www.smittenkittenonline.com/stand-to-urimate-spoon-packer.html (https://www.smittenkittenonline.com/stand-to-urimate-spoon-packer.html)

I wouldn't recommend it for a couple of reasons.

1. After wearing it for about three months it's basically completely deformed.  The tubing has come out quite far the front of the packer and so it doesn't look even remotely real.

2. It works but you have to know your anatomy perfectly to be able to line the medicine spoon.  For FTM's with severe disphoria that wouldn't work.

3. There is no good harness available for it.  Don't think that flimsy elastic strap is going to do jack.  Even with very tight briefs it always slipped out.  I make my own harness from cut hole in a jock-strap and using sports tape to keep it still.  The problem with that is I have to take the tape off to clean it and so it's a 30 minute chore every other day.

4. The good vibrations packer that the tube is through is already starting to degrade.  I just pray it lasts for another 2 months when I'll be able to buy a better packer.

I am saving up for a LolaJake David.  http://lolajake.com/?q=node/30 (http://lolajake.com/?q=node/30)  I am going to add the STP option to it for another $75.  Expensive yes but it will be so nice not to have to deal with the harness.  If anyone has any experience with David or another LolaJake model please let me know.

The packy they use is one thats not on the market. They used to use the Mr. Limpy though.
You could buy the gv packer and buy the ftm bud to use for the tubing.
