Title: Thailand FFS average price anyone?
Post by: Jay-Bird on October 26, 2011, 05:06:12 AM
Hi's everyone,

Just wondering if anyone can give me a ball park figure on a full FFS in Thailand. (Forehead reco, brow lift, scalp adv, rhino & tipo, jaw and chin contour and lip lift)
I'm going to be saving up for about a year and a half so I have a bit of time.
From what I can work out and what I have read in the US that kind of full treatment is around 30k (USD).
So I am wondering if thats the rough price in the US where does that put Thailand?
Does 25K (USD) seem about reasonable with someone like Dr.Chettawut or Dr.Preecha?
I know Dr.Suporn is the most expensive there these days, so I am guessing his prices must be the same as in the US?

Oh' one more thing, is it possible to get full ffs all done at once?
I read on Suporns site that he prefers to combine all to create a better overall aesthetic.

Thanks,
M

Hi Miya,

I think it would be best to contact each surgeon and just ask them. That way they can give you an accurate quote based on what you need and how much they're willing to do at once.

I would assume FFS is cheaper to do in Thailand but I'm not certain. But you have to also take travel expenses, hotel expenses, etc into consideration. So, after adding everything up, it may end up being the same as if you were doing it in the states.

Goodluck!

I had it all done at once in the US. I think it took about 8 hours, although obviously my memory of that day is a bit hazy.

Miya, ever consider Lázaro Cardenas C MD in Guadalajara (http://delta.innosked.com/), just next door NW of Mexico City? That's where i'll most likely be going (despite BFF Wendy (https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php?action=profile;u=13349) going to "O" in just two weeks)! From anywhere in US it's much shorter, non-stop flight (ie: for Delta click on city in above link) and this is their youtube page . . .  (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KG4SJFxvP-Q#) and web price list (http://www.lazarocardenas-cosmeticsurgery.com/prices/) a-la-carte !.

They're not OBVIOUS about it but are experienced in Transgendered and Everyone Just Knows The Latins Do Love Best ! Search "Lázaro Cardenas" here and you'll find many posts already . . . I fly FREE but sorry DISTANCE does matter, especially if later problems!

Atlanta, GA to Guadalajara, Mexico   Thursday, October 27, 2011
(duration less than 4 hours)
  0691  ATL GDL 27Oct  05:45PM 27Oct  08:42PM  DL Airbus 320 First9/9(16)  N/A0/0(0)  Cattle-4/9(132)

A Thailand Price List (http://www.bangkokplasticsurgery.com/facial-feminization-surgery.html) (and everyone knows about this fun virtual FFS site (http://www.virtualffs.co.uk/) too)?

Cheers

Hey thanks for your quick reply's everyone.
I should have mentioned I am in Australia which is why I am looking at Thailand.
Its quite close to us and cheap so far as flights and accommodation goes.
Most Aussie girls usually end up going to Thailand from what I can tell.

I had a look at that price list Kiera, and for a full FFS treatment seems to be around the 20-25K mark.
That site address you gave is for Dr.Pichet, have to say I am not so sure about that one, I have read quite a few not so great reports.
Gawd, FFS is soooo daunting and scary, I would hate to have a bad job done after spending so long transitioning, having laser and so forth.
I always get so excited when I think I have found someone good, then I read a few bad reports and my heart sinks again.

After some further research my list is now narrowed down to Dr.Preecha, Dr.Chettawut, Dr.Suporn in no particular order.

Dr.Kunaporn is also on my radar if anyone knows anything of his FFS.
And Dr.Saran too - here is his list for those who are interested in prices http://www.doctorsaran.com/pricelist.php (http://www.doctorsaran.com/pricelist.php)

In any case its like at least a year away, will see what HRT will do first (not expecting much though at 33)

ciao,
M

To keep it simple [I try at times] I had been quoted about US$ 7.5k for chin contouring and related face tuck.

When I was at PIH I was also told by a girl that had, brow bossing reduced, chin contouring, related face lift, hair line brought forward and eyebrow lift for US$ >20k.

It so VERY much depends what you have in mind and how much work is involved. This girl was > 7 hrs in the op theatre just to get some idea. They quote +/- 2 hrs for BA, and so it goes. It's ~ like a canteen menu list with each item costed.

That's PIH for you.
