That's so interesting. It's fascinating how things may manifest even if we try our hardest to surpress them. Thank god my dads not in my life. Men are so difficult to get through ???

I agree. Past the touching, it's really interesting to see such signs so early.

And yeah, looks like men really are hard to deal with. Tell that to my father... I'm curious about how it all generalises in average, though. It might just be an impression that we get.

Very interesting.

The issue I have with dream symbology is that it assumes everyone feels the same way about the same things.

For example, falling in a dream. Yes, to some people it could symbolise feeling out of control or insecurity. But for someone who loves skydiving or base jumping, perhaps it symbolises the feeling of freedom, and actually being in control of oneself, having to rely on oneself to land. It depends what associations people have with things.

To someone living in the arctic circle, the sun could represent life, bringing light to a long darkness, illuminating something to which they were in the dark. However, to someone living in sub-Saharan Africa, the sun could represent death, pain, constantly searching for something which one has been thirsting after, or a need to hide away from something.

Nevertheless, if you feel the associations with the things mentioned then really that's all that matters. :)
