how do you tell if someone likes you

i'm not sure but there is a girl i have been friends with for a while.she knows and excepts that i am trans and i think she likes me. i don't have a clue what to do. how do you know if some one likes you?

Err they usually just tell me or ask me out. When girls like me though, that there is confusing cause they are very coy about it. Men are juts more direct.

In any case you could just ask?

Girls are mysterious. They could have liked you for 2 months, 2 yrs before they show any signs. They won't show signs, but they still expect you to know, and can get mad at you if you find someone else.

Best way to find out: When you have one of those moments. You can see it in their eyes. Their eyes say "kiss me" But that won't happen around other people.

So i've been hanging out with this one girl for a while. She used to like me (back in December/ January). I was fairly sure she liked me, She would drunk text me, and then later say that one of her friends took her phone. So I asked about her feelings towards me. She still refused it. Another girl came along, I got feelings for her, we were together for about a month. The first girl got mad at me, and FINALLY voiced her opinion about me, that she did, in fact like me. She and I stopped being friends. I couldn't deal with the guilt, so I dumped my gf. I'd rather have 2 friends than lose a great friend and have a girlfriend who I feel guilty with.

Anywho... everything's sorting itself out now. My ex gf is unable to come back to college this fall, and the other girl and I are hanging out again.

Moral of the story... girls don't know what they're thinking. You can't predict anything until they tell you themself. Good luck.

Best way to resolve the issue is to ask. Don't ask awkwardly. You've got to have confidence. She might like you and deny it, she might like you and tell you.

You DON'T want it to be like this:

Do you like me?
Yes
...what now

I'm a hopeless romantic, i'd be more of "yes" then it starts raining regardless of the weather that day, but I don't move, then I slowly lean in for a kiss. Close eyes, Lips touch, put arms around her, hands around her waist,  nice long kiss. Move away and slowly open eyes. Hold hands and walk away together only to die in a car accident that day, confident that my lifelong journey for love was complete.
