Iv tried searching the net for male to fem conversion charts but i can only find american charts.

all i can tell you is that i wear size 10 or 12 stretchy knickers, and that translates to size 14 skirts for me. i hope that might help.

Hello Tammy, welcome to Susan’s most wonderful place
I’m not sure if this is of any use to you but just in case here are some relevant links.
Relevant section at susans.org

I have no idea if this is us or uk sizes though.

Since weight can fluctuate a bit and even sizes can vary from place to place, I tend to look more for skirts with a belt, tie, or other adjustment.

Hi Tammy,
My experience has been that 16 is not always a 16 if you buy in regular shop the 16 is smaller than if you buy in a larger size shop. Helps to make sure the return policy allows you return is the size is not right.

Hi Tammy
I wear a USA size 14 in a dress, and jeans are size 12, depending on the brand. I have even squeezed into a 10, though, depending on the brand. I found a helpful chart online at
http://www.fredericks.com/services/help.asp?91
You can look up your bust waist and hip size in inches and it translates into Misses sizes. Also has shoe sizes, bra sizes, etc. Very helpful!
