THEA + is a new organization based in Atlanta, born of the necessity for a centralization of resources for the transgender community and their families. THEA is the parent organization, the head entity, + stands for all of our activities, conferences, educational material and seminars, and resources.
Our Family Symposium will takes place May 8 & 9 at St. Mark Church, Atlanta.
We see our mission is to promote health, education, understanding and awareness of issues regarding gender identity through a series of regularly occurring programs, events and conferences. Our goals are to provide comprehensive health education, improve access to care and provide emotional support to transgender and gender non-conforming people and their families.
We want to help “normalize” transgender issues by welcoming and educating the cisgender community as well. Our vision is to become one of the leading national organizations that host a multitude of conferences and mobile seminars throughout the country. Our work is about forming alliances with many different types of organizations and bringing them all together under one umbrella to create a comprehensive and complete group of resources.

We will also provide a play place for smaller children and a Comfort Room to give parents a safe place to share their experiences.
Basic package $75, add dinners for $60 each night, and hotel rooms starting at $96/night.
