I do not know if this fits under British comedy exactly, but I enjoyed the movies featuring

Austin Powers!

Some of the tent and shadow scenes are quite funny. Lots of the movies are funny!

I doubt many people will have heard of this, but it's a radio comedy by Andy Hamilton, called Old Harry's Game. It's about hell, and Satan. But it's very funny.

Red Dwarf, The Young Ones and Father Ted are excellent but Rising Damp will always be my fave. Leonard Rossiter is a comedic genius. I'm sure most here have never heard of him but whatever, that's my pick.
