There are quite a few different words or collections of word I can use for Buddhism.

The middle ground.
Signifying you stay on your destined path of living life.

Acceptance
Accepting what everything has to offer but just letting it all go on its own course. There's that one word, it escapes me for the time being, but it basically means "everything happens"

Simple
You don't need anything else but what is necessary.

There are many ways to describe Buddhism, and its all in a way of acceptance and let live. You are neither the creator or destroyer, just simply on a path to enlightenment, or nirvana.

Excellent! I hear think of Pirsig (Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance) when I hear that word.

My word: unblinking

When I was in the midst of chemo, nausea would overtake me out of the blue. If I was at work, I couldn't do my preferred medication and had to rely on pills, which took 20 minutes to have an effect. Buddhism taught me how to make it through those 20 minutes, not by trying to ignore the nausea, but instead to look at it straight on. Study how it made me feel physically, emotionally, mentally, etc. This let me "separate myself" from the nausea, to realize that it was just passing through me, or I was just passing through it.

I see Buddhism as unblinkingly acknowledging whatever is.

the concept of right mindfullness and right action and some pieces of the eight fold path were taught to me by a murderer.

Check out dharma punx online  its a rad community of folks who get together and sit and many come from criminal backgrounds.  Cant find peace till you lose it. <3
