Lipo To Rid Onself Of Male Fat?

(1/1)

Julie Marie:
In the (approx) 2 years I've been on HRT I've put on about 15 pounds.  Much of that weight went to my hips, thighs, buttox and breasts.  I'm okay with that.  But some also settled in the male fat cells and that bothers me.

I've been thinking of having lipo to remove the male fat cells, mostly around the midsection.  I could go on an intense workout program to get rid of the unsightly male fat but I'd lose the girl fat too and end up looking like a lean guy with small breasts.  I want to keep the girl curves.  And targeting certain areas of the body for fat loss doesn't work.  Wherever you first gained fat, that will be the last place you'll lose it and vice-versa.

So I was wondering if anyone has had lipo to remove male fat cells?  If so, what was your experience?  Did you go to a gender educated surgeon or was it enough to just go to a lipo specialist?  I'm thinking of the body sculpting concept targeted just at removing typical male fat.

I would love to try that, unfortunately I don't know anyone who has tried.

If the quantity of fat is not too high, it can work.

Though, if you exercise, you would lose some gynoid fats (female placing), but estrogen would make the male fats be used preferably.

Try it for a little while by doing 30min moderate speed walks every day; I think most of the fats you'll lose will be in the middle.

Also, the intra-abdominal fats (visceral, which is the one that makes your abdomen bulge out (not the pinchable) fat, cannot be lipoed out, only exercise work. The good thing is that if you exercise moderately, this fat is the first used.

Before my breast growth began to be too obvious, I swam 2500 meters three times a week.  The workouts were very intense.  I had very little body fat.  However, I still had love handles and the six pack stomach was partially hidden by a fat layer.  This was the same as when I was in high school and swimming 3 competitive-level miles a day.  I guess it's how I'm put together.  I'd love to get back into swimming but anyone who has seen a swimmer's body knows it builds the upper body big time.  I have some pics of me when I was in peak shape and those guns just screamed male.  My bone structure is male enough, I don't need male musclulature added to that.

I know running and brisk walking will burn off the fat but that means I'll lose it in the areas it helps de-masculinize my bone structure.  I know how my body loses fat and those areas will be the first affected.  I'll have broad shoulders and narrow hips, a typical guy build.  I don't want that anymore.

Maybe I just need to accept my body for what it is and live with it, but before I do I'd like to pursue other options.

Julie,

I had lipo under my chin, the love handles, and between my thighs.  They didn't get too much but it did help some.  Even though I've gained weight since then, I still do not have love handles or a second chin.

In the other places, I've managed to gain it back.... bummer!
