Playing around with a camera
« on: July 04, 2014, 05:38:52 pm »
TL;DR version: I sometimes like to think I know something about photography (even if I don't) and these days I snatch my fiancée's superior camera to do so.

LOTS OF CATS.

Taken with my old camera at Särkänniemi Adventure Park's aquarium. Särkänniemi Adventure Park is just what is says and it's at Tampere, Finland.

Uspenski Cathedral at Helsinki, Finland.

Helsinki Cathedral at - you guessed it - Helsinki, Finland.
Also known as Helsingin tuomiokirkko in Finnish!

Sonisphere Finland 2014 @ Hietaniemi beach (Helsinki)
Metallica playing "Nothing Else Matters".

Sonisphere Finland 2014 @ Hietaniemi beach (Helsinki)
The nice background graphics during "One".

Sonisphere Finland 2014 @ Hietanemi beach (Helsinki)
And the vote of the day winner was "Whiskey in the Jar".

CATS AND DOGS COMING UP.

Taken with the old <poor> camera.
Our cat Paavo with his mother Vilsu. <3

Apparently a stray cat who started to visit us and who we started to call "Ball Face". :D
Haven't seen him in years, I hope he's in a better place now.

Paavo's sister's kittens, they're re-homed now.

Vilsu, my first cat ever. <3 She'll always be special to me.

Hilma, a Maine Coon girl at my mom and stepdad's.
She's about one year old.

I think Hilma knows how to pose by instinct...

Stepdad's dog, Veeti taking in some sniffs at the nearby field.
He's a mixed breed mutt.

I SWEAR I STOP AFTER THIS.

But have couple Finnish summer landscapes:

Both taken at Ämmälänkylä.
