They are still contained in the Female to male transsexual talk (FTM) forum

Not to be an idiot, but where?  Meaning, do we have access to it?  Thanks.

Yup  :)  You just have to scroll through the Female to male transsexual talk (FTM) forum to find them because it is an unstickied topic now

Oh, I see.   ;D

I'm curious to know why you all close the thread and start new instead of just letting it run.  Is it a system issue?

I think it just has something to do with the number of pages. I don't think most people want to look through a hundred pages of posts; it's just easier to start over.

I'm getting borderline depressed about my appearance. I've been on T for 5.5 months and I feel like I look the same now as I did pre-T. My voice is a bit better (but it was a squeaky nightmare to begin with) but I only pass about 10% of the time. I guess I look like a guy if you're a little kid or an old person. I'm about to start my job as a high school teacher and I'm afraid none of my students (and few of my colleagues) will take me seriously. I have crazy bad acne, I'm short, my voice is still too high, and I don't know what to do. I honestly just want to hibernate for a year. I have the tiniest peach chin fuzz that only serves the purpose of making my acne worse.

I want to look at pictures of other trans guys to get hints and tips on how to pass better, but it's so triggering that I can barely stand it.

Is there anything I can do? What is causing me to not pass? Is it the haircut? Acne? Hips? Chubby cheeks? Posture?

I would love any advice you guys have to offer. Be harsh. What can I do? I keep telling myself to just be patient but I feel like I haven't changed at all and I'm getting angry and sad.

Hi, Whynaut.  I do think maybe you should do something different with your hair.  I would seek out a more masculine style (or the same style shorter?  don't know, just something that I think needs to be different...someone else will weigh in).

The reason I posted was to tell you that I remember your pre-T pics and I do think that your face is more masculine now.  You have more of a jawline than you did before.  Check out some of your old pictures (at least the ones you put up here), and I really think you will see a difference.  You will get there!

@AvaCadaver, you pass well, I see a handsome young man.
@Whynaut, I think you pass better with glasses. Your face is not feminine, but the glasses make it more angular and masculine. Your hips are not terrible, could be easily fixed with clothing. Give the T more time.

Whynaut, I'm sure that T will help your fat redistribute to give you a more masculine appearance. You pass a bit better with the square glasses like others have said before. The hips can tend to be a pain for many including myself. This is a big suggestion but if you haven't yet you could do something athletic or workout? That helps to increase testosterone in the body (not by a ton, but it helps) not to mention give you a more muscular body, shed fat (fat doesn't burn in places you want it to burn, it burns off overall but either way you could lose a bit on your cheeks hips etc. which could help you achieve a more masculine appearance), and even build more confidence. Until then, I think you'll have to try to hide your hips with boxy tops that don't cling to one's figure (especially if it clings to your waist.. if it does that when you try it on at the store, put it back on the rack no matter how nice of a shirt it is, it won't work, at least not now). It's summer which makes clothing much more of a hassle since it's much harder to layer clothes without overheating. Anyways, good luck ! Personally to me, you look a bit androgynous in the facial pictures, but not so in the full body picture due to the figure. I think with little changes, you could definitely be a pass.

100% pass. You kind of remind me of a blonde-haired Dylan O'Brien. Maybe that's just me. Handsome face, too. ^_^

Idk what to do about my hips :/ I'm certain my face is passable to a degree, but can you guys tell me if my bodyshape is possibly androgynous or at least not female? Here is a full body picture (take note, this is the most skin I'd show.. I usually wear kind of baggy clothes that cover up most of me so I can disguise my figure) ;

(Also, please don't quote the picture. I want to take it down later.)

Maleth, your face is definitely a pass. Your hips don't seem too bad to me, but it's kinda hard to tell with where/how your shirt ends. If I saw you in public I'd peg you as a dude though.

Thanks, man.. I'll update with a clearer picture. That one was pretty low quality and the lighting wasn't too good either.

Edit: Updated with better photo. (I don't know why, but whenever I send pictures to my e-mail, they look good quality on my phone but awful quality on my computer. I have an iPhone 5 if that makes a difference.. it used to be fine and only started doing this now.)

Whynaut:  I suggest staying away from tank tops, as they accentuate your thin arms.  I never wear them for the same reason.  Not too big of shirts either because the big sleeves make arms look even more like chicken legs...but arms...

Maleth:  Honestly, I think ya look good.  Your shoulders look broad.  I guess your legs are thin, but in the end, they're just legs.

So it's been awhile since I've dropped by. My confidence of late has skyrocketed. I think it's because my medication for my mood disorder is finally helping. So I have a couple pics and couple videos I'm going to post.

Images:

Videos:

I don't watch my own videos, it's a dysphoria thing. But these are not just talking, I sing. Obviously you wont have a clue what I'm tlaking about personal life wise, but I'm curious how you all think I do vocally. I'm pre everything btw, so this is likely to improve later, but this is what i'm stuck with for another several, several months at minimum.

As for the images. Yes that is facial hair. No it's not normally THAT dark. After dabbling with assorted make-up styles I decided to stop shaving for awhile and see where my hair grows. I'll be damned if I didn't start getting patches. So I tried darkening my hair with eye liner, and that is the result. It passes in public, as I've went out in public like this many times and have never been given a second glance.

Anyway. Thoughts are appreciated negative or positive. Hoping I can get a really good passability pre T so that I can make due until I can FINALLY get in to see someone about starting HRT.

Anyhow, cheers. Thanks for reading the babble.
