Moderna booster jab. Got it yesterday afternoon, now I've got a sore arm, chills, and a sore throat. Glad I'm protected,  but feeling pretty grim.

Redid my nails a new color today before work and they looked so cute, although felt very groggy this morning as I didn’t get near as much sleep as I wanted to.

Woke up this morning and my breathing was clear, went food shopping and by the time I got back home I am coughing up rubbish again.

Happy uninterrupted 7 & 1/2 hour sleep
Unhappy I slept on my right side & it feels like my hip & shoulder are pushed in too far

The exercise equipment that I ordered showed up today. BUT, the lazy dork didn't bother to bring it up the stairs and just left it outside the door of my apartment building just leaving it out in the open. So, I had to get it up the stairs by myself which took around 10 minutes. It had a sticker on the box stating that this was a two-person job. If the dunce had knocked on my door, I would have done my best to help them. But, nooooo. We don't have common sense now. That's just wacky.

Now, I need to wait on my brother to come over and put it together for me since I am horrible at constructing things.

If this was freight, most services leave the item on the curb or driveway of the house, or if lucky, to the front or garage door.  Doing more than that is unusual but I have seen it done.  Worthy of tipping to delivery person. 

Usually the fine print describing the freight services provided is shown on the merchant’s Web site so there will be no surprises if that heavy new grill (as an example) is left, unassembled, in a box, at the far end of the driveway.  Many buyers expect more service than that, and it always is wise to know exactly what to expect from the freight delivery people, so you can decide to buy, or potentially somehow get the service you want to receive.

For an apartment, getting the freight to the correct entranceway is about all they have to do.

For shipping (not freight or postal), such as FedEx or UPS or DHL, packages are usually taken to the premise’s main door.

Stores may provide their own or contract out delivery services of appliances, free or for a fee.  In those cases, the appliance is brought into the house.  If installation or assembly services are provided also, they do that.

I do understand the disappointment and frustration you experienced. 

The good news is that your brother will help his sister with the assembly of this and that you will use the exercise equipment for your ongoing fitness!

Well, I had many things delivered over the years, including furniture. (USPS, Fed Ex, and, UPS) I never had something this stupid happen before. The dork could have at least sent me a text saying that it was downstairs. I chalk this up to a worker being a lazy goon and nothing more.

There were items listed on the site where if you paid an extra fee, it would not only be brought up a flight of stairs, it would be brought inside and assembled. There was no indication of any such fee for this item. So, I chalk this up to someone who sucks at doing their job.

But, either way, it's here and, now, I'm just waiting on my brother to have the time to get it together for me. So, what's done is done. It's fine.

I never heard of a freight company at the delivery location that would NOT announce that were making a heavy or bulk delivery; but, unless delivery required a signature, a shipping company like FedEx or UPS would rarely announce at your door a delivery or text you.  However I have noticed if I am at home, for some reason the regular UPS guy usually rings the doorbell but takes off.  FedEx does not.

I can understand your dissatisfaction.

When it mentions on some item descriptions that there is an extra fee for extended services, that can be interpreted that no such extended services are being provided unless that extra fee is paid, but you are not obligated to pay this extra fee, as it is optional.  Heavy items often have extra fees just to deliver to your address and that may not include assembly or to bring it inside.

I suppose that some people may interpret that all those extra services are provided at no cost for the items that do not mention this extra fee for those extended services. 

But as you say, what’s done is done.  I have heard a number of people unhappy with the extent of the shipping services they received.  So I have learned from those unpleasant experiences of others and ask clarifying questions.

It has been quite awhile since I personally had to get anything heavy.  The last thing in that category for me was a washing machine.  They brought it inside to where the broken machine was at, they took away the old broken washer, but I had to put on the water hoses to my faucets and plug it in.  Not much but that was what was promised.

Rejoice in that you will have some assembled exercise equipment to use soon!  Let us know how you like it.

Yeah, the price was good. So, there's that. I don't know how long it will be until I can use it. But, I'll just have to wait.

Down side after eating most of them the humungous number of calories consumed after weighing myself this morning and finding I had lost 4lbs

It appears that you found your NEW DIET plan that apparently "works" for you.... 

....  perhaps you should order more cheese and onion flavored chips!!!!

Look at the math here... you eat 150 grams of chips and then lose 1,814 grams
of body weight !!!!  It's a miracle 

For me, on a similar note, I seem to be able to lose weight, or at least
maintain my weight, when I eat Hershey's Chocolate Bars.

In your case however, I am thinking that the big part of your diet success is
when you had to carry the just arrived exercise equipment that was delivered
and left downstairs....up the stairs by yourself.   
That 10 minutes of hard work certainly helped with weight loss.

I got my bloodwork done yesterday. Last night, I got my results back.

My E level was great. I also saw that my cholesterol and triglyceride levels were the best that they have ever been. So, that's pretty rad.

Still waiting to get my exercise equipment together. LOL Oh, well. It will happen at some point. Maybe before the summer.

This actually happened last night.

I got my bloodwork done yesterday. Last night, I got my results back.

My E level was great. I also saw that my cholesterol and triglyceride levels were the best that they have ever been. So, that's pretty rad.

Still waiting to get my exercise equipment together. LOL Oh, well. It will happen at some point. Maybe before the summer.

I have the equipment. It's just chillin' in the box. I can't put stuff together to save my life. So, I asked my brother to do it. He's just really busy with stuff and things (mostly things). If I wasn't so mechanically inept, I would've had it together and been using at this point. But, I just have to wait.
