Used to collect stuffed animals when I was younger and I had a pretty good-sized collection of jewelry when I was girlier.

Now it's just CDs, comic books, and I guess I have a lot of video games too sitting around. Although I didn't buy them for the purpose of collecting.

books and cds, to the extent that I will miss meals, nights out or just go overdrawn for them.. got no room either. SO yes I collect them at my own detriment.

From this list accessories and books/records.  I've pretty much finished up these collections as well.

I don't really actively collect things, but there are a couple of things I have a ton of on accident.   Tools, since I love to repair things myself.  Goes from ten million wrenches for cars to several saws and specialized equipment for working on electrical and housing jobs like plumbing.  Lot of specialized tools out there so I gathered a ton.

I do have a small collection of signed first edition books.  I have all of Brandon Sanderson's books signed and 1st edition.  Same with Robert Jordan.  Started with the Jordan books first and Sanderson finished his series and I was impressed at his writing so started picking up his.

I have three books I'm really proud of.  Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game, 1st edition.  I know the author is a tool, but I love the story.   I do plan to get him to sign it one day just to get under his skin.   He's very much one of the leaders of the anti-gay movement so getting him to sign it for me would be hilarious.  A first edition signed copy of HG Well's Invisible Man.  And lastly, the holy grail for most fantasy lovers, a signed 1st edition copy of The Hobbit from J.R. Tolkien.  Little beat up, but it counts.

Wow, nice!  Speaking of which I have a lovely Hobbit and Rings Trilogy book with the most gorgeous of illustrations.  We were made to read The Hobbit in HS which was perfect for me as I had been devouring all that stuff in my junior years through D&D...anyways, off topic again :-X

I collect pens and notebooks.
Except for this, I might mention books and earrings.
