So I have been on HRT
Veronica A:
Hi,
I have been on HRT now for 3 months now and my thoughts and observations..
Mind
Well around 2~3 weeks after starting HRT, i felt far more scatter brained than normal. my thoughts jumping around more and more. thinking of a million things at once, it felt that way. i feel more at peace and right, everything simply calmed down for me. i also was a bit excited about the future and still am. and have no plans to stop it either.
Hair growth
Facial hair growth, and other areas has slowed down a great deal. i now only have to shave every 3 days or so.. lower body hair has def slowed right down. leg hair as well, no longer do i get lots of hair growth each week after using an epilator on my legs. hair on my arms has started showing signs of getting lighter in color, well it seems that way to me.
Hair loss on my head has slowed down, still happening a bit more than i like but i will speak to my doctor about this.
skin
my skin feels a lot softer than i remember..
face
havent noticed much, others have.. i am looking good apparently...
chest/bust
Before HRT, any sports bra rode up a bit. i barely had anything (as per normal), just the small amount i had from years ago when i first did hrt. it never did go fully away. Since starting HRT it sure has starting growing with a vengeance, i am well on my way to filling an A-Cup. i didn't expect anything for another few months, but the family genetics seems to be holding true for me. put it this way, two of my sisters had a reduction from E and FF to A-Cup and after 4 years one is now a DD and the other is D.
With out a sports bra its def noticeable, lucky for me 5 months ago i started wearing sports bras daily to work. So the seamless lines are a norm for others who see me at work and the lines on my shirts are standard. the sports bras no longer ride up and actually sit right for a change, the ladies are stopping them from riding up (they aren't huge but enough to stop the ride ) :) i cant wear my old light colour shirts anymore, too noticeable, i wear black shirts all the time when in hiding out in the world.
I am filling out tops and my pjs nicely  even the non-padded bras fit well now :) and you can def tell they are there when i wear them.
they are very sensitive at the moment, it hurts when bumped and i cant sleep on my stomach no more.. and if i do its one arm under them and one in between the ladies  its now very uncomfortable if i dont wear a sports bra or any type of bra.. cause if the nipples rub on the shirt its very very uncomfortable. occasionally i forget and when i take my shirt and bra off it light scrapes them.. holy cow can it hurt when your not carefull.
Heres hoping it continues to grow at its current rate.
Hormone Levels
Well i had my lab work done and went to the doctor a couple of weeks ago. he was surprised at the levels, i am on a low dose. Even so my female hormone count is up to near female norms, my male hormone level is dropping, and hopefully it continues to fall ( i am on blockers only). I cant go on a high dose because i have Factor V Leiden heterozygote, but the specialists are cool for me to be on med to low dose. My liver etc is all very healthy, I did remind the doctor my liver is very good at processing meds, esp pills and that i wake up during surgeries and being under general anesthetic without an increase in pulse or BP.
Coming out work
hold on, not straight away.. i need to practice what i will say and how i will approach this with Human resources at work with my shrink next session. in the not too distant future the changes will be hard to hide all the time. so i got to collect data and practice infront of the mirror.

Well congrats on all the changes!!!! Low dose works just as well as full dose. It may take a little longer but, it still works it's magic. Keep up on your journey and enjoy it!!!!!

That's great! I'm right behind you just making 2 months on wednesday. Sounds like you're well on your way. I'm on a small dose too and I haven't noticed much yet.
