@KathyLauren
Dear Kathy:
I am missing seeing and reading your "night sky/universe/star gazing" pictures and activities.   Have you published additional recent articles or taken any more incredible photos of your relevant activities that you can share with all of us here on the forums?

As I have mentioned previously and you are most certainly aware when there are clear skies along with the long nights here up near the Arctic Circle the night sky is bright and spectacular... no city streetlight pollution makes everything so visible and bright especially with a new moon that does not wash out the brilliance of the night sky.
The Aurora Borealis when it wants to show itself is high above the horizon and it is brilliant and colorful as it dances around in the sky.   I have posted some pictures on my thread but the pictures do not do justice to the scope and brilliance of what the naked eye can see.

I think of you often when I stand outside in the cold while I am stargazing the night skies up here.

HUGS, and as always, my best wishes to you and your wife.
Danielle

I can't tell anything examining myself in a mirror.

Kathy, I’m sorry to read about your difficulties with your GRS. Hopefully you’ll be able to get insurance to cover the next revision with Dr. Brassard. Maybe I missed this but have you talked to the GRS team to see if you might be able to get a virtual appointment? That would probably be covered by insurance and might help narrow down what the issue is that is causing all the pain and discomfort.

I hope you feel better soon and this gets resolved before stricter covid restrictions are put in place.

My Best,
Susan R🌷

So my surgery, which was supposed to be fulfilling, make me happy and reduce my dysphoria, has made me sore and incapacitated, depressed, stressed, and more dysphoric than before.

So sorry to hear of your difficulties. All I can say is that I'm thinking of you.

Thank you, ladies.

Danielle, since you asked so nicely (and since we had the first clear night in weeks last night!), here is my latest image.  It is the Orion Nebula.  The colours aren't quite as you see here, because of the filters I used, but I tried to get them as realistic as possible.

2015-07-04 Awakening; 2015-11-15 Out to self; 2016-06-22 Out to wife; 2016-10-27 First time presenting in public; 2017-01-20 Started HRT!!; 2017-04-20 Out publicly, beginning full-time; 2017-07-10 Legal name change; 2019-02-15 Approval for GRS; 2019-08-02 Official gender change; 2019-10-18 Phone consultation for GRS; 2020-03-11 GRS!; 2020-09-30 New birth certificate

Dear Kathy:
Thank you for posting your spectacular photo of the Orion Nebula....

Are you continuing to contribute you photos and commentary to the publications that
you collaborated with last year?

Again, thank you for sharing and posting.

That image is beautiful!  It's overwhelming to think of the universe beyond our small world.  Thank you for sharing this photo.

Wind blew in, cloud was dispersed
Rainbows appearing, the pressures were burst
Breezes a-singing, now feeling good
The moment had passed like I knew that it should

Beautiful image! I'm just beginning to set up an astrophotography capability. Will probably be a while before I can come close to your level of expertise.
