I like old cookbooks, too. I'm looking forward to "inheriting" my mother's copy of an old edition of the Joy of Cooking, and she's got a few other gems of oldie regional and southern cookbooks in her shelf as well.

Dear Sarah,
Thank you for starting this topic and thread well over 2 years ago.
It has been dormant for way too long so hopefully my posting will
now bring it back to life.

This morning was cold and it was snowing.  (today is April 30th !!!)
I woke up early, as I usually do to get ready to go to work but
because I had a couple hours before I had to leave to go to my office....
... I turned on the oven and scratch-made Cinnamon Rolls,
lots of Cinnamon!!!   While still warm from the oven I took them
with me to work to share with my visitors and clients...
I sampled one at home, and then had one at work, the rest I gave away....
... made everyone happy.

HUGS,
Danielle

@Northern Star Girl

Oh yum, yum! Those look great! Good job, Danielle!

I have actually been meaning to make the cinnamon roll recipe from King Arthur flour since it’s King Arthur’s recipe of the year for 2021. I might make them for Mother’s Day!

I bought some pineapple chunks yesterday , reduced in price due to use by date . Had some with my lunch then made an upside down cake with the rest. 4,4,2 eggs and 8 flour sponge mix.
