I have just started my journey to womanhood
« on: March 19, 2021, 03:58:14 pm »
I started my journey from male to female in august last year
Without the support of my family i have found it a bit confusing
But am getting through it slowly.knowing my ultimate goal of becoming
a beautiful transwoman is finally coming true

Hopefully my parents will come round in time to the fact
That there little boy is now a beautiful woman

Only time will tell

Dear Chelsea:
I am so very happy that you took the big step to start your very own personal journey blog thread.   This is not only gives you a place to journal and write out the experiences, expectations, successes and even your not-so-good news in describing your journey, but also I and the rest of your followers will now be able to read your journey writings but also we will be able to find you more easily and drop you a note or our reply comments.

Writing out things about your personal thoughts and comments regarding your transition journey is good personal therapy... it gives you an opportunity to think about what you wrote from your heart, and then to postulate positive actions that you can take to make things better.

I also keep a personal "old school" pen and paper journal at home, complete with colorful doodling and some snapshot photo.  On a cold night I can many times be found on my comfy chair in front of my fireplace reading over my past journal entries... sometimes with rejoicing and sometimes with tears in my eyes... again, it is good personal therapy.

When you report good news, we will rejoice with you and root for your success and happiness.... and when you report not-so-good news we will give you our ears to listen and our shoulders for you to lean on.
Your readers and followers are here to give you support and encouragement as you travel in your personal journey.

Again, your new journal blog is an important way that you can communicate with yourself and with your avid supporters.

Thank you for sharing....
HUGS and best wishes as you continue on....
Danielle

Feeling a bit low today as its the 4th anniversary of the death of my grandma
she was the only one who knew about me wanting to become a woman

I have always felt that had she lived to see me as the woman i am now
She would have been proud and supported through it all

I still have one of the dresses she gave me that i kept at her house

In fact im wearing it today in memory of her

Losing family members or close friends is always difficult, but it seems to be more painful when it happens during transition. I expect she knew that one day you would become the person you always dreamed to be. Give them time, and I expect most of your family will eventually realize that you are an amazing woman.

My mom passed away in February 2020. She accepted me, but she always blamed herself, as if there was something she may have done which caused me to be transgender. She left us never knowing that I have a new birth certificate, stating that she gave birth to a little girl all those years ago. I never told her because I was afraid that it would cause her pain.

Even though your loss was years ago, you have my condolences. I wish you all the best on your journey.

Love always - Jessica Rose

Hey Chelsea, I'm really glad you can finally be you. :)

That opportunity in life is truly a wonderful gift.

For decades I would order women's clothing online, even though I could never wear it in public or around the house. Just having it made me feel better. I lost 20 - 30 pounds when I transitioned, and hardly any of the clothes I had been buying for decades fit. I happily donated thousands of dollars worth of clothing to others who were transitioning.

It's amazing how just wearing the correct clothing can make us feel so much better.

Love always -- Jessica Rose
