constantly struggling
« on: June 14, 2018, 04:28:14 pm »
hey yall, been a long time since I posted on here. But I'm really struggling right now and could use some support. I'm a constant ball of anxiety and stress I didn't sleep much last night because of it. I'm so uncomfortable with my body and depression and anxiety. My therapy is getting cut back to once a week and I dont know how to manage.

Big hug sweetie. You got this! These can be testing times, but it's an opportunity for you to build on the strength you've clearly got to slowly take back control,  build resilience, and move forward.

We're here for you, you're never alone. X

How to manage? You start by spending more time around here and sharing the problems that you face. Then you start addressing your problems one at a time. Try not to take on to many things at once because you will quickly become overloaded and be worst off than you are now. After you have a few problems under control, you will be able to look back on your life and see how things have improved. This will give you the strength to move forward and deal with additional issues.

There is another current member who joined us feeling pretty much the same as you do now. In the last few months this member has gone from being locked away in her room to exploring the world. Her thread is locate here and I suspect that you might learn much about coping with problems from that thread.

Hon. I don't know where you live but I can tell you I carried my anxiety around for 64 years. When I came out it was like a rebirth. I don't get enough therapy sessions so I decided to go to support group. I now regularly attend two of them. Ingersoll not as often as I would like but I could not drive in the winter in the rain. Seattle ugh. Support groups are free except for a fully voluntary contribution. But it nice to be around people, have dinner together, a little socializing. I am returning to therapy tomorrow because I have not been able to pull the trigger and go full time. I enjoy being a girl at least as far as I can go.  If you need to find a support group drop me a PM and I will do a search for you and I will have that info to include in our links. Don't get down, especially if being trans is something you value . There is nothing worse than thinking you're alone. God I know about that. But you aren't. We are here for you. Once I came to Susans I realized these fine people are so giving and wonderful. There is a great deal of intelligence here. Don't be afraid to talk about your concerns.
