I am very insecure about my smile. I've always wanted a great smile and decided that I should do it. I've researched dental veneers and crowns recently. I've decided that I like the idea of crowns much better. I am going to have the top front 6 teeth done. I don't want to hide my smile anymore.

@gingerViktorKay
You are correct, Crowns are more durable and longer lasting than Veneers, plus the Crowns can fix tooth spacing issues, missing teeth, mis-shapenen or chipped teeth effectively, etc.

.... But 6 crowns will put quite a big dent in your checkbook unless you have great dental insurance and can find a discount dental office, and a quantity discount!!!

Wishing you well,
Hugs,
Danielle

I never used to think about my smile.  I guess I didn't use it enough to bother.

It is starting to bother me now that I have more to smile about.  My teeth are jammed together by impacted wisdom teeth, so I have a couple of fangs that protrude.  I am thinking of having the worst one removed.  (Maybe after Halloween, in case I want to dress as a vampire!  :D )

Looks like I will be rocking a goatee while I get electrolysis. I'll try to remember to post a pic of me with a goatee.  >:-)

@gingerViktorKay
This is very exciting for sure.  Starting HRT for the very first time is a big milestone in your transition journey and a date that you will want to make note of in your personal journal....  then you, as others have done, can celebrate HRT anniversaries with all of us.

As you have read in some of the various threads around the forums, HRT will be an exciting ride, but there will not only be successes but also there can be disappointments and frustrations as well.   We are here to offer our supportive thoughts and comments when it seems appropriate to do so.   Over time, as HRT does it's magic you will look back at all of this as an amazing process.

Of course, this means that you will have to keep your thread up to date with your latest life happenings.  Your curious and supportive followers will want to know!!!   We will be eagerly following your thread and postings.

Hugs and well wishes,
Danielle

I went to the pharmacy today to fill my scripts and I was able to get my E Alora patches, but not my spiro. I have to get my spiro tomorrow after noon. Oh well. Today is still my start day and it is an easy one to remember.

Thanks everyone. I just hope these patches stick. I've heard complaints. :(

Patch is on butt cheek. I hope it stays. I don't want to have to duct tape it.

I put my patches on front slightly right of top of thigh. alternate both sides on changing and move a bit as they tend to get rubbed off otherwise, looking for other sites at the moment as I think skin gets sensitised to it - is there a guide to slapping them on locations?

The package said to put it on the lower abdominal. I just chose the butt cheek. I felt the effects within 20 minutes.
