Topic: Do you ever play with your hair?

I have a bad habit of running my fingers through my hair no matter what I am doing. I will get shedded hair in my fingers and fling them in the floor of my bed room. I take a broom and periodically get all my hair off my bed room floor. I have had long hair since I started growing it in 2011. I am only starting to really transition to female my true self. When others perceive a man constantly playing with hair in public, it draws some stares. My behavior has been feminine for years now. I like my hair down and loose so my hair playing goes on repeatedly.

Dear Chrissy:
There are many men in my town with beards. I see it all the time, men stroking their beard. 
I suppose that is the equivalent to women playing with their hair.

I've had long hair since I was 13/14, I used to have it down a lot but got teased at school because I had a very feminine head flick, behind my ears it went... I have it tied back at work for pratical reasons but it comes out as soon as i get home! I still keep it behind my ears but like to have it all gathered round to one side over my shoulder, I play with it from time to time, sometimes when im nervous. Always enjoyed people platting and brushing it, very relaxing

Yes. Touching hair, and making it swish and feeling it move as your head turns are simply nice sensations.

Over the years I have done a lot of running and jogging.... when doing activities like that at times with I have longer hair I usually have my hair in a ponytail ....  I love feeling it swing around as I am running.

It was one of those play with your hair days today.
It seemed like my fingers were running through my hair and I was “turning it” round and round with a finger.
But only when sitting thank goodness.  It would be extremely weird behavior while shopping!

When and if I my hair grows out for a ponytail that can swing to and fro I think that would be nice.
I can form a silly looking short ponytail but a volume of longer hair is needed for a great ponytail.

I love going to the hair salon and having my hair trimmed and styled....
    I can easily fall asleep when the stylist is working on my hair

I like watch the stylist work and we talk.  I also enjoy seeing the styles others are getting done while I wait for my appointment.

I dislike waiting for a flight, but I tend to arrive very early to avoid any potential issues.
I do not fly that much.  I prefer to drive unless that is simply impractical because of distance or the ocean.

I do not recall playing with my hair at an airport, with the exception of one time when many gate area seats were empty and there was an attractive woman seated across from me.  I was not even presenting as female!

I have been doing a lot of thinking about things on my mind and today I noticed I spent a LOT of time with my fingers in my hair.  Some twirling, some pushing it back behind my ear, some just letting my hair go in between my fingers.  With all of that, I still have more thinking to do!

My hair has finally reached the point of being stupid long.
It gets stuck in my belts, tucked into my knickers D: dpped into my coffee if I'm not careful.
I still do plenty fiddling with it though. It's relaxing.
Me and my mam have always loved having our hair played with :')

I know how you feel. When i first grew my hair, I also grew it stupid long, properly as long as your hair by the looks of the photo.

I eventually cut it, because it became heavy and a really pain to wash and blow dry. I did nearly cry when the hair stylist cut it.

I now keep my hair, around shoulder blade length, sometimes I let to grow to around half-way down my back.
