Foods native to where you live/where you come from

Just as title says. What foods are native to your area and which ones you would always recommend to try?

Native? I am from Long Island. Pizza (Napolitano and Siciliano), Bagels and bacon, egg and cheese on a roll, salt, pepper, ketchup. Ethnically, I am half Italian, so there's that. Braciole, eggplant, the Sunday sauce, which has all the meats cooked in it.
