Laser hair removal and tattoo removal clinic/salon?

I wanted to get people’s thoughts on owning a laser hair removal and tattoo removal clinic/salon.

I have been working professionally with industrial lasers for 15 years. I know lasers and their operations pretty well. I have been selling them for the last 4 years. I am no stranger to entrepreneurship and sales.

I am just starting my mtf transition and am currently in a VERY male dominated and non-trans friendly industry. I have about $50,000 to start a business, maybe more if I use home equity or other loans.

I’m thinking about ways I could turn my professional experience into something that is more trans friendly and doesn’t keep me on the road four days per week.

The only thing I can say about this is that most Laser Salons employee a doctor to have on staff. Also, you might want to check out your state/city's laws about this. I'm thinking that not just anyone can open such a place.

I know that this is an old post but industrial lasers is for industry or targeting surely are a different breed to epilation kit? I know that years ago refitting kit for the MOD in UK we were warned @ eye damage but not having hair removed. Don't mean to overly picky but have only worked with those systems but urging caution xx

I agree. You might need to get a license.
