BritneyX:
Is there a an abbreviations and technical term knowledge base?   If there ain't one, there should be.  It would be mighty helpful to us new folks to the forum.  In other words, what does FFS, VFS, and GCS stand for?  Same with terms like pansexual.   Users tend to want to get answers from the forum (that they are on) than from external sources (links).

Oh, and another thing, Britney,
Please make a point to stop by the Introductions Forum to tell more members about yourself.

Your introduction there will permit other members here to know of your arrival... and you can expect more sharing of thoughts with other members... an as you get more involved in exchanging comments on various posts other members will be along to offer their thoughts and comments in response to any of your specific questions and concerns..

NOTE  Now, after all of this Official Greeting stuff I will let you now have your thread back so you can seek the answers you are asking for and time for you to do some more postings..

Again, Welcome to Susan's Place,,
Danielle

In general, when I am writing a post, I use the full name for something the first time and the acronym for subsequent references within a post.  It’s the teacher/writer training at work...

That is, I will write Facial Feminization Surgery (FFS), Voice Feminization Surgery (VFS), or Gender Confirmation Surgery (GCS) the first time in a post or article, and subsequent references in the article will use the acronyms FFS, VFS, or GCS.  It’s an easy habit to develop.  Even better, some smarter authoring and tech writing software can do this automatically the first time it sees the acronym.  Web sites, not so much... ;)

Some abbreviations and acronyms are covered in Susan’s Wiki, https://www.susans.org/wiki/Abbreviations.

The Wiki is a fairly good starting place.
