Well a mile stone I have been taking E orally and have been on the hormone for thirteen months now. I have just received my first script to deliver the Oestradiol via injection, I have found a compound pharmacist that is fairly local and with the help of my Endocrinologist and the pharmacy I have the completed script.

Tomorrow I will send off for the medication and am sure to be self administering by the end of the week. Needles and syringes ready it will be interesting to see how I go administering the hormone, I’m not squeamish but jabbing your thigh with a long needle is not the most enticing thought, bloods will be measured every two weeks so we can get the levels right so I will be really interested how this affects my E2.

As soon as my first injections have been completed. I will post the new lab levels as an indicator currently through Oral its between 500 and 600. T .70
Warm Regards Michelle

Michelle, that is an unusual milestone in Australia! I will be interested to see how it goes...

I am still battling with my endo, I am sure I'm his first ever trans patients, and I have made arrangements to see another Endo, but not until July :( I did get a date for my GRS today though, 27th Jan, with a possibility to bring it forward to December!!

Hugs,

Allie

Hi Michelle,
I was just reading back though some of this thread and noticed your note about moving to the Belgrave / Tecoma area.  Yes it is really beautiful!  I lived in Tecoma for a while when I first got married - a very long time ago now!  I loved the place!  The biggest downside though, is that the risk of bushfires is incredibly high should one start in the area.  As a huge contrast, I now live in Brunswick, where the physical environment is drastically poorer but the social environment is incredibly rich.
 Hugs,
-Kenna

Put the house up for sale last Saturday and it sold Tuesday, I know I should be really happy but feel sad in a way, I still feel a lot of love for my wife but I am a realist and as she said she never signed up for this.... I’m sure sounds very similar for a lot of Brother and Sisters out there... well lets hope to happy days. wait and see.

Much Hugs to you and Love

My heart goes out to you!  I suppose there is some truth to not having signed up for this but still....   One wishes this wasn't happening so much!  Take care of yourself!
And thanks for the hugs and love.  The same back at ya!  ;-)

Hi,

Yes we were still good friends though and we both wanted to make sure we could support each other and Progesterone came on board and then the EV injections and bang I told her no more and have cut all ties with her... full stop.

I still maintain and see regularly the grand kids and I have an average relationship with my son but my daughter in Melbourne seems to have cut me off. Which I understand .

People ask why have I made this drastic decision when we had a good relationship? Well its simple "Self Preservation" I couldnt take it anymore emotional , I would spend the day shopping, having lunch and checking out properties for her and then having to leave this beautiful women that I love so much was killing me so bam cut all ties.
Left the divorce papers in solicitors hands so I/we don't have to correspond when the time comes...
Warm Regards Michelle

OK so on Progesterone rectaly , gone from cycling to full daily just increased my dosage . My body cant get enough of it. I think two weeks later started the EV injections which I LOVE. pmol at peak 3000, at trough high 600's.

Hows that for some crazy figures but all good I'm still alive  ;D mind and body have changed a lot. Outlook that is as well as physical, breasts have grown in width and size hopefully after another year and a half I may not need BA.

Complete back flip; I find men so much more attractive and have dated a couple these past few months , I could not of contemplated that two three years ago I would of been completely repulsed. I put it down to a combination of medication, social life changes, completely living as a women (complete ID change) and the brains plasticity... so pushing boundaries all the way. Such is life.

Hope you ladies stay safe, big hugs xxxx
Warm Regards Michelle

Good to hear from you Michelle! So you didn't move to Victoria, and are still in Qld? Would have been a smart move given the current situation! Good you have your hormones where you want them, and are you having specific changes due to Progesterone?

I have been on rectal P for over a month and have had some nipple development, and have my trough E up to 800, but disappointingly, not much is happening. I have been full time for 10 months now and just 3 months before GCS in Melbourne. There is a surgeon offering PPTV in Canberra now, has done it many times with cis women, and is just starting to offer it with trans women. Given your changed view of partners, may be of interest?

Hugs.

Hi Allie,

Got a consult with him next week Dr Kieran Hart...lets see what comes of it .The only challenge it that there is not much long term data on how the membrane holds up over a long period of time because the technique is relatively new. Unlike penile inversion that's been kicking around for decades. Happy days

Yes so lucky I didn't make the move to Melbourne and I was so close to making the decision, interesting how the road of life twists and turns.

I think the P has made a big difference to my brains Plasticity, I also think that because P allows soft tissue to take more fluid that it certainly helps in the rounding. Overall though not sure because a month or two after starting P (not weeks) I started on the Injections and I have now seen a big change in my body especially waist and hips and the back side. It could be a combo of both it could be one not the other.

Hope you keep safe big hugs xxx
Warm Regards Michelle
