Midwest trans queer
« on: March 19, 2019, 05:52:54 pm »
Hey yall!

I'm a midwest queer who has been out as trans for four years. I did HRT for a couple of years but it wasn't helping with my dysphoria. My journey has taken me from trans woman, to non binary, to agender, to third gender.

I am here looking for resources and advice and look forward to participating in this community!

Thank you so much, Danielle! I've been coming to the forum off and on for years. I've decided it's time to create an account and actually participate. In the coming months I am sure I will have a lot of questions about surgeries haha

Welcome, TBL!

My journey has also taken me back and forth from trans woman to...well, I'm not sure what yet.  I'm searching for a therapist and the funds to see them to discuss this with them.  I may be able to get back on HRT tomorrow.

I'm sure I came across this site years ago but hadn't been back until a few days ago.

Actually, questions about surgeries (surgeons) led me here and I was able to go to a group presentation with a woman that had recently had surgery with the doctor I was (maybe still am) considering.  Cost with this particular surgeon may be prohibitive for me.

Oh, Midwest (er...we may have settled on North) here, too.

Gender is WILD! I'm happy to be where I am in my gender journey, and hoping that surgery will be the next big step for me. Good luck in getting back on HRT!
