How do I upload pictures from a mobile device?

Okay, I am apparently technologically illiterate. AlaskanDanielle sent me instructions on how to post pictures from Imgur into posts and for the life of me I just can’t make it work. Can somebody post a step by step tutorial with screenshots or something?

I'm not using imgur, but your photos need to be formatted like this:

The Imgur instructions that I sent to you and posted in a thread that I authored last year detail the simple instructions... but as is stated in the instructions, phones and pads do not always have the necessary button functions that laptops and desktop computers do.

With a mobile device you are probably better off using Tapatalk or perhaps another image hosting service.

I tried that with Imgur, it just creates an empty image frame:

So I got on the Imgur site and verified that BB code is NOT available for mobile uploads.

Where do I find the BBCode?
BBCodes are only available on the desktop website. Once you have uploaded your images, hover over an image and click "Get share links" to copy the BBCode.

Devlyn,
One thing I noticed that is interesting is that your photo just appears an empty frame on my phone. When I powered up my laptop and opened this discussion your image showed up. It appears that image display is device dependent.

I use TapaTalk to access this site. It has a ”photo-icon” to tap and the pics just appear.  like below.

The only downside is that you can’t see polls in tapatalk. You need to go to the forum with a computer or browser on your phone.

TapaTalk is an app. You upload pics to the forum you connect it to. People not on that forum can’t see them.

But be aware that internet never forgets. What ever you upload anywhere on internet will remain there. If that feels uncomfortable, don’t post any pictures you don’t want others to see.

It is not like imgur. You can’t save pictures on TapaTalk itself. It is just an app to easily access different forums that might interest you. Instead of visiting the site through a browser.

I use Tapatalk when uploading pics from my phone but there is no privacy settings that I can find. Are you wanting to upload a temporary pic? if you choose to do it via Tapatalk PM me when you want it removed and I will edit the link for you. Just please don’t upload hundreds of them lol

No, I just had one of my Imgur photos set to “public” and got instant nasty comment. I don’t want that again. That is why I asked if Tapatalk allows other users to view your photos. I don’t want unwanted people viewing my photos. I know that people on here won’t give me trouble, but I don’t want other random Imgur users saying nasty things to me.

No. Your pics only show here. Or the forum you put the picture in. But the forum can be accessed by people who are not registered. I was a lurker, many of us were lurkers before we registered. But a lurker can’t comment pictures.
