Saturday:  Leftover turkey and fixings from Thursday.
Be a good example of good behavior.  Always be kinder than needed.  Be tender to others.  You are as beautiful as the thoughts you think and the words that your speak.   Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding.  Knowledge and action shown without love is not impressive.  If you look for the good in people you will find it. Healthy relationships are so important to good living.  Serve others.

Good living, joy, unity, love, and happiness can come from following these practices: Never let selfishness or conceit motivate you.  Regard others as more important than yourself.  Do not limit attention to only your interests, but include the interests of others

It is not usually about how fast you transition, it is about how well you transition.

Homemade spicy tomato dal and turmeric-spiced rice. I need to refresh my spices...flavors were a little dull.

Just scrounged around the refrigerator and found an assortment of leftovers.

Nothing too exciting, but all appear to still be fresh.

For dinner, I will finish off my leftovers from Thanksgiving.
I made Turkey noodle soup with the scraps and small pieces... several quarts are now in the freezer.
For lunch I made a turkey sandwich with some of the nice slices... and tonight for dinner
I am having a salad with turkey ....

I am soon ready to change over to Ham or even Spam !!!!

Sorry to hear about that.  I avoid that by eating the same food day after day so food doesn't get a chance to spoil.  Or keeping stuff in the freezer and then moving it to the refrigerator when I'm going to eat it.

Beef rib soup and shrimp chips.  I chop up the carrots, celery, onions, and braise them with the beef rib in the morning, them cook them in a small  slow cooker with potato slices all day.
