I had a late lunch.... so there is no classic dinner tonight but instead something better.....

My sweetie tooth-fairy and I are cuddling on my sofa couch in front of my fireplace....
....wine, cheese and crackers...    and toasty toes.

I had a big lunch, so I only had some steamed asparagus for dinner and a bite of some coffee cake. Perfect.

I had a big lunch again, so I just had a boiled potato and mixed veggies for dinner. And I had the final piece of coffee cake slice that I had bought.

Not a thing yesterday evening.
Be tender to others.  You are as beautiful as the thoughts you think and the words that your speak.   Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding.  Knowledge and action shown without love is not impressive.  If you look for the good in people you will find it. Healthy relationships are so important to good living.

Good living, joy, unity, love, and happiness can come from following these practices: Never let selfishness or conceit motivate you.  Regard others as more important than yourself.  Do not limit attention to only your interests, but include the interests of others

It is not usually about how fast you transition, it is about how well you transition.

Just a bit of pasta and tomato sauce. I had a big homemade taco salad for lunch, so dinner was low-effort.

Finished up the taco beef with another taco salad. Hard to mess up a taco salad, always delicious. A couple bites of cookie dough ice cream.

Sauteed zucchini and onions. It's better when the zucchini is in season, but it wasn't bad.

Finally went to the grocery store after two months in isolation.  I'm having fresh strawberries and fried scallops!

A dear friend brought over after lunch today a pie, but it is not a fruit pie.
It has chicken and vegetables in it but it has a pastry crust.

She also brought a cobbler.

I may enjoy the leftovers for meals ahead!

These were yummy!   :)  :)
