Chicken coated with egg and panko and fried in bacon grease. Freshly baked sourdough bread.

Looks good!

Be tender to others.  You are as beautiful as the thoughts you think and the words that your speak.   Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding.  Knowledge and action shown without love is not impressive.  If you look for the good in people you will find it. Healthy relationships are so important to good living.

Good living, joy, unity, love, and happiness can come from following these practices: Never let selfishness or conceit motivate you.  Regard others as more important than yourself.  Do not limit attention to only your interests, but include the interests of others

It is not usually about how fast you transition, it is about how well you transition.

As I'm drowning in a sea of courgettes (zucchini), I made a pot of creamy courgette soup. I added a Serrano pepper to keep it fun.  >:-)

@Devlyn
Dear Devlyn:
A good (and tasty) thing you can do with all of your very prolific and extra Zucchini is to make
           Sweet Zucchini Relish
   https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/172346/sweet-zucchini-relish/

Frankly I like it much better than pickle relish on my grilled burgers and dogs.
I usually make enough and "can" it so I can enjoy it all winter.

HUGS,
Danielle

Keep the recipes coming, apparently they don't have vine borers here and the zucchinis just keep producing. In New England, the borers would come along in mid summer and stop our zucchini anguish.

Supermarket sushi. Lazy dinner, but so mediocre. I really need to stop buying this - I’m disappointed every time.

Mushroom soup and Korean dumplings. I'm almost through the frozen Korean dumplings...it was a really large bag from Costco.

Today is board game day and pot luck at a friend’s house in San Diego.

We’re playing among other games Hellboy: the board game, the Luchador scenario. We are stuck in a post WWII time rift in which all of our characters are wrestlers fighting the big bad evil trying to save the world from the ring.

So with the awesome Jack Black movie Nacho Libre playing in the background, we’ll have a Caesar salad, corn on the cob in honor of Jack’s sidekick Steven, cheese enchiladas, pork and beef tamales, chips with homemade salsa and guacamole, cheese plate, an assortment of wines, cervezas, and cocktails, plus some assorted unknowns goodies.

Cheering and wildly yelling while pile-driving your opponent is highly encouraged. Tag team rules in effect. As will be disqualification rules, so no biting, gouging, or elbows to the neck, but jumping from the ladder and flying leg kicks are definitely ok. And yes I will be wearing my Eddie Guerrero mask. 👺 💪🍻
