Topic: Good (free) video resource for transgender people

Hi, everyone. We’ve had several newcomers lately who come from conservative evangelical Christian backgrounds and are searching for truth and reconciliation between their faith and their life.

One excellent resource that has been very helpful to me is the YouTube messages of Austen Hartke. He is a transgender man and Old Testament scholar. I am not sure if he would describe himself as an evangelical Christian, since there are certain connotations to that term that he might wish to avoid. But he is sharp and does an excellent job of addressing transgender issues from a biblical perspective.

I don’t agree with every single thing he says, but my disagreements are technical in nature and not anything that would make me hesitate from promoting his material as a good resource.
