It's been super COLD yesterday and this morning minus -16 deg(f)...  it snowed most of the night and it is snowing now.
I went to my tooth-fairy sweetie's home for breakfast and here are what the streets looked like when I stopped to get a few groceries early this morning... dark and cold.... and slippery.

-16F in November? I'd never survive, even bundled up.... (Love to see a picture of you dressed for this). Every place has its weather challenges. Here, it's lengthy periods of ground fog that keeps the sun from us, but I can't imagine how tough you have to be to live in those conditions. It must be love. You've found home, a place where you have great friends, a job you enjoy, and nothing but acceptance.

It is 43 degrees here and going down to 33 degrees. -16 and a lot of snow, I do not know how you survive there.

I kinda sorta maybe get the cold. Boston gets cold-ish at times and you muddle through. What I think must be hard is the super-short hours of daylight. How much daylight are you down to now?

Dear Jennifer:
Sunrise to Sunset....  about 6 hours of daytime (Sun in the sky)
   which means 18 hours of night time.

...... Right now the temperature is minus -11 degrees(f)   SNOW expected tomorrow.

Dear Readers and Followers:
I know that there are several transitioning members here that I am
aware of that in their life endeavors are having a difficult time with being
accepted and they may be also being subjected to criticism and hate.

Here are some things that I always share with all of my transitioning
sisters and brothers.

I am fully aware that what works for me may not work and may not
be appropriate for you and your situation.

Now, my editorial for all transgender individuals everywhere:

Where I live in my small rural town, I am probably the only trans-woman any of the
towns people have known about and have ever met.

I go out of my way to be friendly, kind, considerate, polite....   
... and to give a positive image of a good contributing citizen to my community.

It is important that as transgender individuals that we present ourselves well and
thus help gain respect for all transgender individuals.   
There is nothing worse than giving a bad impression because of our actions,
remarks and appearance.

All that we can control is how WE feel and how WE act and talk... and
how we present ourselves. 

For me, I find it helpful to fly under the radar with my appearance... nothing
outlandish or attention grabbing with clothing, makeup and hair.   
Conservative clothing is a good fit for me and my self-employed financial and tax
business endeavors, not to mention my relationship goals here where I live among
loggers, outdoors men and women, business people, and current and prospective clients.

Certainly we can not control what others do and say. 
When others do and say unsavory things that put us in a bad light, we must be
very careful about how we react to that.   
While showing anger and getting back at those that besmirch and defame us may
feel good for a very brief time, it is usually not the correct move to make.

Good morning all!  It is just after 8:00am here and I just got to my office.
Whenever I arrive to my office I can smell the food cooking and baking next door
at the Coffee Shop....  I fairly sure that I can smell muffins and cinnamon rolls....
... after I get my things in order I think I will wander next door and get my morning
coffee and a baked good...
or perhaps something more substantial like scrambled eggs, sausage and a muffin.

It is C-O-L-D  out there...  Some SNOW flurries, minus -12 degrees(f)

...Thank you everyone for your comments and sharing your thoughts on my Blog thread....

Last night I went to my monthly Book Club meeting... there were 5 women and 1 man there

We talked about some of the books we are reading...
...romance novels centered around the holiday times but we also talked
about what we do every year as far as baking and preparing wrapped
cookies and candy gift plates that we can again give out to some of
the shut-in seniors in our town. 
It is personally very rewarding to be able to be involved in local community events
such as this...  we are also planning on singing some Christmas Carols
as we give out our home baked gifts.

It is such a joy to share with others at this special time of year.
I will post more on that later....

I'm back from the next door coffee shop.
 
In my previous posting I mentioned I was going next door...
Now I have gotten my morning coffee from my favorite Barista
there (she was female suitor #5 back in 2018)...
She put a Pink Lid on it as she always does when I get coffee....

...and I could not resist the fresh baked Cinnamon Rolls...

Tuesday morning, November 16, 2021


Last night I went to my monthly Book Club meeting... there were 5 women and 1 man there
along with me and my sweetie tooth fairy. 
We talked about some of the books we are reading...
...romance novels centered around the holiday times but we also talked
about what we do every year as far as baking and preparing wrapped
cookies and candy gift plates that we can again give out to some of
the shut-in seniors in our town. 
It is personally very rewarding to be able to be involved in local community events
such as this...  we are also planning on singing some Christmas Carols
as we give out our home baked gifts.

It is such a joy to share with others at this special time of year.
I will post more on that later....

.... now to get my coffee and some nourishment

Between you gym gals. the book club, your suitors from 2018 and the wonderful (but cold) scenery you seen to live a wonderful life that I think that many here wish we have. I know I do and I hope & pray that I will find my way back to that type of life as a widow during my retirement.

OK friends and followers....
hang on to your coats, hats and gloves.  It's a cold night out there.

Here where I live we are going through a bitter COLD spell.
Yesterday it was a bone chilling minus -25 degree(f) and late last night and very early this morning
the temperature went way, way down to minus -45 degrees (f) for several hours.

Right now it is SNOWING hard with more snow to come.   
This afternoon and evening it warmed up "substantially"  to minus -22 deg(f)...
....to put it in perspective (that is 23 degrees(f) warmer, LOL) and will be SNOWING hard through Tuesday morning.

My Tooth-Fairy sweetie and I are having take-out Pizza from the local Pizza joint.
My sweetie will be picking it up in a few minutes at 4:45PM my time and bringing
it to my home so we can eat together.   I have the fireplace going and the house nice
and warm.  ....  and a bottle of red wine to enjoy while we sit in front of my fireplace
toasting our toes.

It is very cold here minus -22 deg(f) and SNOWING hard..
I hope that that my sweetie gets home soon here while the Pizza is still still warm!!!!..
The Pizza place will loan us an insulated container as they always do in bitter cold weather.

Today is a new day....   Monday, November 22, 2021

It has "warmed up" significantly.... 
.... this early morning the temperature was minus -18 degrees(f) and still SNOWING.

The forecast calls for more cold weather but not the bone chilling temperatures that I reported in my previous reply comment.
December an January are the coldest months here usually with well below Zero temperatures... but this year the
super cold weather arrived early in November this last week.

I am heading to work at my office now so I will be slipping and sliding on the road into town, but my vehicle is
well prepared for these kinds of driving conditions.

UPDATE:   November 25, 2021

To all of my USA readers, friends and followers... I want to wish you a very
                     Happy Thanksgiving Day

For Thanksgiving I put on a dinner for a few of my Gym-Gals group single ladies plus my Tooth Fairy sweetie.

I provided the Turkey, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy
Others brought some of the side dishes.... what I really enjoy are all the special holiday side dishes, especially mashed potatoes, gravy, green bean casserole, etc,  and a big veggie and relish tray, deviled eggs, etc... then of course PIES.....  Apple, Pumpkin, or Cherry are my favorites.

Negative below zero temperatures today  minus -11 deg (f) and Snowing.   
Tonight and tomorrow on Friday it will get colder down to minus -26 deg (f)
and then on Sunday down to minus -31 deg (f)

Nothing better than spending Thanksgiving with your friends and sweetie. We all have so much to be thankful for.
I made Thanksgiving dinner for myself. Turkey on the BBQ with Citrus-glazed sweet potatoes.   My fur babies kept me company, but today included a variety of texts and FB posts wishing my friends a wonderful day.

Everyday should include time to be thankful for what we have.

Burrr.... it's cold outside.

Early this morning when I was getting ready to go to church the temperature
was bitter cold ...  minus -36 degrees(f)

This afternoon it has "warmed up" to  minus -27 degrees (f)
    ... just a slight chance of Snow.

Tonight...I invited my sweetie tooth-fairy to have an early dinner with me.
           Stir Fry  Shrimp and veggies.
           Apple Pie for dessert.

An extra bottle of white wine to enjoy in front of the fireplace
while we enjoy the warmth.

Hi Danielle,
You stay warm up there... as warm as your heart! Here in Northwoods Wisconsin it's been a very snowy day. Sadly I've had to miss church this month as our store opens one hour earlier on Sundays thru Christmas and I work Sundays. I volunteered to work late because the girl who was scheduled after me was snowed in. When I came home I had the driveway to plow out as my Honey gets up at 4 for work.
At last when I got inside my daughter had a lovely dinner ready for my Honey and me.

I know you are used to it but brrrrrrrrrr. Its been down to very low 2 to 5 C over the last week and thats too cold for me!!
 Mind the slippery stuff and stay warm dear, might make ginger cookies today.
