"Low" dose HRT - impact to athletic performance
« on: December 28, 2019, 01:11:23 pm »
Does anyone have experience with HRT and the impact on athletic performance, specifically running?

I am a competitive runner in my early sixties and one of the concerns I have about going on HRT, even a "low" dose is how it might impact my performance.

In another year or two I will probably no longer be competitive in my age group so it will become less of a concern to me.

I should mention I am not planning any surgeries at this time though I don't know what the future may hold for me.  So, even though I self-identify as female I will continue to compete as a male.  It's just the way it is.

Thanks!
