Signature URLs
Laura1951:
OK, given that this is probably the right place to post the question, but that this section is in a tiny corner of the site, I'm hoping someone sees it and can help.
I'm trying to add URL's to my signature, similar to what Alaska Danielle has done for her signature. I know a bit of HTML, but the coding I'm using doesn't result in text that has a URL link, which is what you see on Danielle's page. I've looked at the page source code for her signature, and even copied her code to my signature, but I'm still failing.
So, what am I missing? What's different here?
Laura
Laura1951:
By the way, Susan's does have a section about links and my coding, except for placing things in a table, is the same.

@Laura1951
Dear Laura:
I have just sent you a Personal Message with the LINK CODE that you require for adding to your
signature line the LINK to your personal thread:
Laura's HRT Journal
If you need assistance with other LINKS that you want added to your profile signature line please feel free to ask, I will be very glad to help you.
***If you follow the format of the LINK Code that I gave to you in my PM...
.....you should be able to add other links.
I trust that this will be what you desired.
If you want to me to modify the LINK title wording that I used in the LINK, please let me know.
Please read the Personal Message that I just sent to you.
Hugs,
Danielle (Northern Star Girl previously Alaskan Danielle)

I'm no coder, but I do know my way around BBCode. :)
I think you're trying to put up a link with a name, such as Link to the Terms of Service?
To do that, you insert the link that you want to point to, into a set of url tags [url][/url] with an = sign, like this:
[url=https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,2.0.html]Link to the Terms of Service[/url]
I hope this helps everyone. :)
Hugs, Devlyn

Devlyn and Danielle,
A sincere thank you for helping me. I found it interesting that the coding you provided differs from the page source code, but now I know the trick. Have a great day.
Laura
