Female+ famous does not equal greatest for me

I played 1000+ gigs in rhythm section with a transwoman drummer. It was good times, but of course unworthy of this thread

Also saw a video where Terry Bozio played cymbals in ways that warped my mind

That was just one band.
Band gigs are/were just like days at work for me, and # of gigs was my measure of self worth.
I started real young, and never stopped until a year ago. So it's one category I could outdo others & feel good about myself. Changing attitude now, but kind of want to get back out there. I could beat 10,000 easy

Something high energy with good tone that makes audiences feel good.

My road is forward.
I'm not virtioustic, not famous (thank God), or even respected at it by peers, yet music has indeed been my destiny. There are multitudes of great players whose life paths required them to put the music away. For whatever reason, this was not the case with me.

Doing different work right now but nothing good or steady
I saw both ends of 2 rainbows at the same time on the road last year. It tells me that whatever awaits will be wondrous.

Just don't know yet.
