Today me and my daughter went to view a house for us to live in.. It was perfect and we made an offer..
The tentative steps to safety and freedom.. I hope they accept it...

I've got my fingers crossed for you!  Let us know how it goes!

Thanks all.. The house we went to look at is perfect for us both. It has a wonderfully large kitchen (which is the most important thing to me) and it has no neighbours.  It also has a workshop outside, which whilst small is again perfect.
There are unfortunately 6 other people interested in it.. so I just have to hope I have made the best offer..
I was told I would get to know on Saturday.

In other big news.. and I mean BIG news... today my therapist sent me my gender change letter, telling the world to regard me as female... It is really such a small thing, but it feels huge to me. I have got my change of name form (deed poll) and just need to meet up with my friend and get them to witness it too..

So, if everything goes to plan, I will be officially Sarah, recognised as female and living in my new home with my amazing daughter within a few weeks...Phew.

Wow - those are really big steps to be taking all in a very short time. Hopefully you get the house! You should give yourself a pat on the back for continuing to push forward.

That's great news!  Keeping my fingers crossed for your bid being the highest, and your plan coming together.  Take a breath- things seem to be working out for you well!

Yes things are really moving apace... Its just needs doing now. I've spent too many years pretending to be male and being what others wanted me to be..

We didn't get the house unfortunately. Another higher bid got there.. But a lot of people were going for it... Still it's early days, there will be others...

A little bit excited about that....

The name change is definitely something most worthy to be VERY excited about. I was giddy for days after I got my driver’s license updated.

Enjoy and celebrate...you’re making huge progress quickly.
