Still bored , cooked bread and found I need a bread tin as it went flat and wide!! Made a pear and apple crumble, sorry diet------.
God its hot, 31 C in my flat . Windows open but no breeze , cooker on hasn't helped.
Rang work and told them, my final response to manager was (my wrist) is still very bad.

writing this just for something to do!! well it feels like a chat. Like an awkward first date with little to say , grey and damp at the moment just like me-------
Have managed to loose a few LBs , eating more veg and dahl . TMI but recon it helps you loose weight as it doesn't stay in your system long.
Will have to see if I can sell some clocks and things I made just to pay for some bits for hot rod, lost a weeks pay already and if on sick pay will be totally skint .

Hi Davina, glad you're losing weight. As a vegetarian I found I could eat a lot more because these foods are bulky and have a lower calorie density. That said, as I've aged I now have to eat less anyway. Good luck healing, I hope it goes quickly!

Cutting a thread in a pipe yesterday (18mm) for suspension and slipped, ouch as I smashed into my left boob !!!Good job I was between patches or it would have been worse.
Wrist report, still numbness in fingers and slight pins and needles and hand still slightly clenched. Recon its buggered this time, taking things easy working on rod. Not doing any harm to it working gentle ,need to keep moving it or it will get worse .  Veg diet seems to be working, did have a beef burger with lots of veg for tea last night . Tuna salad for lunch today .
Time to get mucky I suppose, tidy up time this morning sweeping up all the grinder dust.

No more boob bumping yesterday !! I was totally wacked after a good day working on hot rod, crashed out as looking at FB and my finger had rested on down scroll button!!
Off to see mum and then do a bit more on rod , waiting for new bits to come and need to order some joints to finish suspension arms . Day off tomorrow seeing doc hopefully , will have to post some up for sale stuff.

Wrist update, Doc has put me on sick note for a month. Last time it took 4 months to get "better" .
Just had to buy a blood pressure tester just to give a reading so they will okay my patches, docs have stopped testing due to virus--------

Not a bad thing to have, your own blood pressure tester.... I have one here myself, and showed to my doc over the video tel-medicine meeting we had.

Blood readings high, trouble is I can never sit and relax as my brain goes off on one!! best reading so far is 138/86 . Its always lower at evening .
Off to do some gentle work on hot rod, have to drill some 80mm holes in 4mm sheet steel . That's going to give my 2nd world war American pillar drill  a work out!!!!!

Sounds dainty!

My blood pressure is low and sometimes I'm close to falling down.
Hopefully somewhere soft and cushy.

Had a cooking afternoon yesterday,  needed to use up some yogurt so made a keema , that's Indian mince and peas that can be used as samosa filling or eaten with roti. I like to make a shepherds pie with it so froze 2 batches. Pork joint reduced  1/3 off so made a pork and green lentil curry then to use up yogurt made some southern Indian veg curry, that's some small cubed boiled veg with a coconut and yogurt dressing with spiced oil added. Can be eaten at room temp so put some in my lunch box with a few mini scotch eggs .
Got mucked about getting my patches as they needed blood pressure readings , spoke to doc and he said they would think about more than 1 months supply next time . He did say meds to reduce my blood pressure but I would rather do it by diet .

@davina61
Dear Davina:
I enjoyed reading your update today.....

Hopefully you will be able to get your blood pressure under control....   way too low blood pressure and way too high blood pressure is not a good thing.

I love Shepherds Pie....   I make it with Ground Beef but I know that some cooks make it with Lamb... but either way it is a great One-Dish meal.

I had to look-up to find out about mini-scotch-eggs  They look very good, I will have to try making them.

Thank you for keeping me and the rest of your followers frequently updated on your blog/journal/thread.

HUGS and as always, best wishes,
Danielle

Aren't those full-size scotch eggs?

I think with mini-scotch eggs you mash up the hard-boiled eggs to make them small enough, and you use something to bind the pieces (Mayonaisse possibly).

I could be wrong though; I'm not much of a cook!

To be correct, shepherds pie has to be made with minced lamb, if minced beef is used it is a cottage pie  :D

Feeling out of sorts at the moment, brain not working well and wasted a lot of time making stupid mistakes working on hot rod. Must have a day off me thinks , running out of materials as well. Wrist still wonky and thats peeing me off .
