Make sure when you return to work they give you PPE or you should not work - Gloves Respirator (not mask) and eye wear. Otherwise its unsafe to be there and they wouldnt have a leg to stand on if they messed around with you, your health is paramount....

windpipe still feeling dry/rough making me cough , will phone docs and see what they say. TBH plenty of PPE already in place . Have to do a bit of a food shop today , bread , butter and milk . Some veg as well from local store as not going to supermarket .

Try to get a thermometer if you can Davina.  My understanding is that knowing if you have a fever or not is important.

News today, they have relaxed the need to have a car inspection for 6 months . Work rang " have you done your CPD for testing" yes a month ago and I gave you copy of certificate . Its there cockup .
Made to much food again, lamb and potato pie with a suet top. A lamb stew with veg and dumplings also an apple crumble as 2 of my eating apples had gone soft.
Need to stay in tomorrow waiting for parcel with bits for brakes on panel van .

Yes symptoms are sore throat, dry cough and high temp. Recommended to drink hot fluids as it kills virus and keep mouth moist so it gets washed into gut as that kills it as well.

Got my letter back telling my GP to prescribe HRT ,only prob is they have my E level way off and doc has been told to reduce patches when my level is spot on what they want between 5 and 600 pmol/L . sent them an email as no point in ringing as never gets answered . Will inform docs anyway. My next visit to GIC is in June (is its OK to go by then) when I will get signatures for surgery . Have to decide who to go with and full or partial .

Now not being at work has made me realise just how stressed I had become, sleeping better, my eye that was blood shot (the one that gets tired easily ) has been clear and aches and pains going . Working on my own VW  but at my pace has been good due to the rapid progress , a months worth of spare time in one week. Still feeling a lack of energy , HRT effect? or old age?
Overcast this morning and gradually turning colder, some showers forecast  .

Not being at work seems to be doing good things for you, even though it is a "forced" vacation.
Gives you an opportunity to do some things that you enjoy... more-so than at your work...

Hey girl, you have not posted any photos lately showing your hobby of making clocks out of old automobile parts.   I have really enjoyed seeing your handiwork ... and I suppose it can bring in a little extra money when you can sell some of your creations...

Not made any clocks lately , concentrating on van. Started to make a steam punk style standard lamp using a flex plate from a range rover , thin steel tube and will be decked with sprockets . bulb holder will hang from a turn buckle tensioner , watching to many TV shows like Black Dog Salvage, Find it Fix IT Flog it and so on !!!

Yes I know the feeling Davina. I've been watching Let's Make A Deal and The Price Is Right. I'm soooo bored. I posted a request on FB asking our local cable TV provider to put something better on TV since we are all stuck at home. They must have read my post because for the next month, some of the premium channels are free ;D

All done apart from bulb holder, needs a brass one I think. Took me an hour to feed cable up the tubing !! So just for Madeline here is a pic of lamp and one of panel van. Lamp shade is an old cutlery drain pot .

I really think the lamp looks cool!  The lampshade is the best part.  I don't know a lot about body work, but the van looks really good so far too.  Thanks for sharing your work.
